About Jambeto'S Bakery & Cafe
Here, you’ll find Filipino cuisine that tastes just like home.
Jambeto'S Bakery & Cafe Description
Jambeto’s offers the first of fine Filipino cuisine and baked goods that is both of authentic homeland taste and is also masterfully prepared by a culinary chef who is formally trained in the US. We also care about the ingredients we use in our products- leaving out the added preservatives and MSG- and also offering baked and vegetarian options. We bake our goods in a peanut-free environment. Jambeto's is proud to offer dishes that are prepared with both American and Filipino palates in mind.
Here are some of our most popular items:
Empanada – A savory, meat pie stuffed with seasoned ground beef, carrots, green peas, and potatoes encased in a baked or pan-fried bread crust. Our empanadas are unique in terms of taste, texture, and appearance. The empanada was carried to the Philippines by Spanish colonizers creating a unique version of this dish.
Cinnamon cake – A delicious bundt cake that offers a light but sweet cinnamon-y taste. It is addictive with every bite and customers often find that they’ve eaten a whole cake in one sitting. Coffee is a wonderful accompaniment.
Pan de Sal – Pan de Sal is the most popular yeast-raised bread in the Philippines. Made with the highest quality ingredients and skillful technique, it’s crusty exterior and chewy interior is ideal for breakfast but can be enjoyed any time of day. Have it toasted plain or with cheese, butter or marmalades. The secret to its success is all “rolled up in breadcrumbs”.
Pancit bihon is a dish of very thin rice noodles fried with chicken and /or shrimp, green beans, carrots, celery and cabbage in soy sauce. Served with a lemon wedge and soy sauce.
Lumpia – This meat-laden, fried type of eggroll is filled with ground prok, minced onion, carrots, soy sauce, water chestnut. The mixture held together by beaten egg. Served with a sweet and sour dip.
