We felt like home at this place! You have a lot variety, from pastries to buns and bread, also the coffee was so good! Everything was so delicious! Hope I can come again!

My friend and I popped in on a whim for coffee and to check out the selection of German baked goods! Omgosh! Phenomenal selection, everything was fresh, homemade, and authentic German! I had cranberry apple strudel, my friend had a poppy seed strudel. She kept commenting how it took her back to when her grandmother made that pastry for her as a child. Portions are massive, proof that one never leaves a German table hungry. We are going back for breakfast tomorrow, taking my husband with us definitely! This will be a must visit place every time we are in Corpus Christi!

My first visit was one I’ll alaways remember. My friend Barry, who has been here multiple times before, told me I had to check out the Brisket strudel. I’m sure it was good, but I chose the Cowboy strudel instead - delicious! I ended up buying so many other goodies to take home to family. I hope to return some day. Ralph from Albuquerque.

Most amazing place to eat. Incredibly authentic. German hamburger is a taste sensation. Would be fat as a tick if I lived anywhere near this place! We are originally from a very German part of Ohio, and have never tasted good, breads, or pastry this good! The restaurant is quaint, but you are there for food, not decoration. Do your mouth a favor and check it out!!

I love the beach & drive from San Antonio to Corpus frequently. I kept noticing this place & decided to stop in. I'm very glad I did. Everything is amazing. This past beach trip was no different! I was very thankful to see they survived Hurricane Harvey. I love the atmosphere, food & service. If you're anywhere close to this area, stop in & enjoy! I promise you won't be disappointed & you'll put this on your favorites list.

Delicious! We stopped by twice while in Corpus this weekend. Enjoyed the quiches for breakfast and my husband loved the cinnamon rolls. The lemon cream cheese strudel was amazing as well! I really wish I was there long enough to try everything but I see many visits in my future. :)

Amazing baked goods and food! Reminded me of the little bakery that was down the street from our house when we lived in Germany. Friendly and helpful staff. If you get there early you might miss the wait but we had a wait later in the morning. What can you expect from such an awesome little bakery!

The staff here are extremely helpful and friendly, however the day I went, there was only one person working the counter/register and there was quite a wait to order. I ordered an omlet and it was delivered promptly and was delicious but the portion size was small and I was only given one piece of lightly toasted bread. We thought we would get one to share but sadly, the portion size is not realistic for that. Given how fresh everything is, the prices are very reasonable and significantly less than your ‘craft’ vendors at the local farmer’s market. The butter bread was great as was the pretzel cookies and pretzel sticks! For the best selection, go early and be prepared to wait. If the service had been more prompt and portion sizes more in line with the price paid, I would’ve given them 5 stars.

I was skeptical about a German bakery in Corpus Christi, but boy was I wrong. This little joint is legit. Humble yet charming building both inside and out, very friendly staff and the pastries, soooooo good.

Food was delicious but we got there by 11 am and they were out of waffles. I believe they don’t make more items once it’s sold it’s sold. But I had the chocolate cream cheese strudel so so good.

It's real good. My wife had a German burger and I had the German hot dog with extra sauerkraut. The only thing that I dislike was the wait. We waited about 35-40 minutes for our order (and I'm not exaggerating) after the first 15 minutes I ask for my order and they said that it was on the way. So I kept asking every time I saw a worker and that was their reply. When I finally got my order everything was worth the wait

I ate at this place 2 days in a row, and the food is amazing. The customer service was great yesterday, and terrible the next. I simply asked a question but I guess I asked while she was getting something. She stopped in her track rolled her eyes and asked what was that. I quickly said never mind and at that point I believe she realized she wasn't very friendly and she apologized. Very disappointing was to end my trip I really wanted to take pastries home with me but with her attitude I just ordered my breakfast and went on about my business. Oh and to top things off when my breakfast came it was totally not want I ordered.
