With a very heavy heart, we announce that Keepers of the Food Café will be closing our doors permanently at 9:00 p.m. Saturday, June 30th.
We’d like to thank our staff, guests, vendors, friends & families for all the love & support you’ve given Keepers since we opened on July 28, 2017.
We hope we get the chance to serve you before we say our last goodbyes!

We popped in for burgers yesterday for lunch and couldn't believe how delicious and flavorful they were. I'm not a picky person when it comes to food and rarely notice things like that, but these burgers were just so tasty. We'll have to pop back in next time we're in Conroe and try the rest of their menu.

We had breakfast here this morning first time, we like to find good places that offer delicious and healthy food. Firstly, let me say we were overwhelmingly surprised at the delicious choice, and the sweet and friendly people. I ordered pancakes, loved them as they were so amazing and light with great flavour, and had turkey sausage with them, awesome. My husband had eggs and bacon and said his was so good we will definitely return again very soon. It's nice to find a place that really likes to cook healthy, and at the end of it all the food you taste is fabulous. Well done , excellent place , lovely people and 'wonderful' food! I'm bringing neighbours next time .

This super-cute and quaint lil' venue is a great addition to the neighborhood, and surrounding areas! The kolaches are D'LISH, and the pancake is fluffy and good without syrup or butter! Rob loved the biscuits with the honey-butter, and we both LOVE the yogurt parfait (and the cute mason jar it's served in with a handle)! Mr. Tom couldn't be a nicer man, and as a 25yr retired sheriff with Harris County, I couldn't be happier for him and this new adventure. May God continuing Blessing him! �

Stopped by this morning for a quick bite to eat and tried the lemon poppy seed muffin. Let me say that I have never had a more moist, more flavorful, lemony muffin. I will be back for more. I can't wait for my lunch which is the blueberry muffin I ordered and the salted noble bar for dessert.

Pot roast and Nut meat ravioli were fantastic. Blueberry muffin was divine. Prices seem high because they don’t advertise the quality of meat, organic produce, most everything is local made, down to the tables. The management loves to support the little guy. Very high quality ingredients and atmosphere. The homemade energy bars are a MUST! The owner and staff are absolutely wonderful and I can’t wait to try the breakfast.

My wife and I dropped by for lunch this weekend after reading some of the reviews and were thrilled! The cheese burger and chicken enchiladas tasted incredible and left us feeling great - rather than a typical heavy/greasy feeling that often accompanies them. We met the owners and were blessed these folks. Go support them! You (and your taste buds) will be glad you did

My new favorite place! The food was amazing. I had the pulled pork sandwich. The homemade bun was soft but with crispy edges from the grill. The pork was lean with a delicious BBQ sauce...yum!!! The apple bread pudding was crazy good too!
What makes it for me is that the food is organic and the meats humanely raised. I don't want to eat GMO produce and/or pesticides. And I believe it's wrong to mistreat animals used for consumption. Very few restaurants actually check where the meat is coming from. But, Tom, the owner and his GM, Angelina, actually went to the farms where the animals are raised to make sure they are treated humanely......Wow! Impressive.
And Tom is just a good guy. He came over to our table to check and make sure everything was good. He has been through cancer treatment and started eating healthy good food because of that. I love this place because the food and staff are amazing. I want to eat to live and preferably stay cancer free. That means eating organic, non-GMO, pesticide and antibiotic free food. There aren't very many restaurants where you can find that. But Keepers of the Food is it!

Lovely cafe with fresh food and a lot of vegetarian options on the menu. The veggie pot pie was absolutely delicious, and came with a fresh side salad. I tried the orange-basil vinaigrette to top it off, and it turned out to be a great choice. Will definitely be back!

Love this little place! I’ve only had their breakfast (bacon egg and cheese biscuit was delicious!) so need to come try lunch and dinner! So happy to finally have some organic choices available!

Just ate there for our third time. This could become our regular Friday date night restaurant. Had the shepherds pie and mushroom pasta. Everything was great. If you have not tried this place yet definitely give it a try.

I was there yesterday and service and food was excellent!!! I had the watermelon and lemon juice, shepherd's pie with a side salad and purchased a dozen of the their bars (those are dang amazing)

I love the food here. As soon as you take the first bite, you're aware that you are enjoying something much higher quality than normal restaurant food. Everything has a clean fresh taste. The shepherds pie, salmon and vegetables, and the pulled pork sandwiches are my go to dishes. Whether you are looking for a healthier farm fresh taste or you're just trying to break your old routine Keepers is a great idea!

I had a breakfast taco and blueberry kolache for breakfast yesterday. My taste buds were high-fiving and doing a happy dance. All of you people who turn up your nose at real food, think again! I can't decide which is my favorite.....chicken pot pie, kolaches, noble bars, the salad with house dressing, it is all so good. Because i like the sit-down-slow -down meal, the spend time with your family and friends type of meal, while eating properly seasoned freshly prepared food, I always enjoy eating at Keepers. I like their model of sustainability manifested in choosing local farms as sources and responsible packaging for take out containers. Ambience, delicious food, organic, fresh made....everything i want when choosing to dine out!!

Delicious chili rojo and the best corn muffin I’ve had in my life. Prices are very reasonable and the portions generous. Highly recommend it!

The food was delicious, the kids liked it! The chicken pot pie my husband had was a little small for his big appetite, but I got him a cheese kolache, and that made up for it. The staff was friendly, I do have a suggestion, get the customers refills on drinks, to compete with the few other restaurants that serve healthy food. The place was very clean!

I'm very excited to have this new little spot in the neck of The Woods. Although their menu is limited until the Grand opening, the choices are nice. Their menu offerings are organic with several vegan options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I ordered the Chicken Salad Sandwich and wedge potatoes. The chicken salad tasted homemade and the wedge potatoes were hot and freshly cooked. My friend orders a side salad with chicken and it was a perfectly-sized portion for lunch. Service was friendly and excellent. I look forward to making Keepers of the Food a regular dining spot. Hope they Lee up the good work!
