We were in Tyler for a few days...hadn't been there for over 10 years so we wanted to try something new. When I found out Tyler had a French bakery I had to try it! Yummmyyy! We also wound up staying for breakfast,so glad we did, it was delicious! Lunch also looks amazing! Next time!
We have eaten at La Madeleines in Houston, Dallas, and Tyler. Never disappointed! We love the atmosphere and the food. The chicken salad sandwich was one of the best I have eaten, and I always have a chocolate eclair!
Was in town for a short time order the French dip sandwich and tomato soup .was delicious.
This was my first visit and I was impressed! The wait staff was friendly, efficient and attentive. I really expected to pay more, very reasonable prices. The restaurant was clean, even the bathroom. Even the temp was comfortable, I usually take a sweater when I eat out, but no need. I had the chicken salad sandwich and tomato basil soup, I highly recommend both. I'll be back!
The food was great. I had a Turkey and Brie and an almond croissant with a latte. The atmosphere was peaceful. I'll have breakfast here again.
Thank you for allowing us to have a “Tea Party” for my daughter!! Your meeting room was the perfect place! You have a very relaxing atmosphere and very friendly staff! Your chicken salad, tarts , and crossants were wonderful! Thanks for a very memorable experience!!
It was such wonderful service and the food was absolutely incredible. I left with a happy stomach and craving more! I would highly recommend stopping in and trying all their wonderful food options. My personal favorites are the French onion soup, Cranberry and Pecan field salad, the Chicken Friand, the Quiches, and the Eggs Benedict! I will hopefully be returning to La Madeleine soon!
I use their catering services all the time and I can tell you- the catering manager is the best I've ever dealt with. She is so sweet and really goes above and beyond to make sure your order is correct, on time, and delicious! My clients have all been very happy with the service and setup. They include the warmers and trays AND set it up for you! 5 stars for sure!!
Great environment and the food is excellent, from the moment that you walk thur the door you get that French restaurant feel, can’t wait to go back again.!
First experience at La Madeline and we loved it. Kevin was an excellent host. The employees and service was impeccable. The food was reasonable priced and quality was great. I had a sandwich that had turkey and bacon, French onion soup, and a Caesar salad. Delicious. All of it. We then shared a chocolate cake that was one of the best I have ever had. Called the Sacher I think. Decadent is an understatement.
Best service and food ever!!! The chocolate raspberry cake was amazing!!
Yummy breakfast. And the coffee was tasty. Loved the cashier. She was delightful
Nice place...the croissants could be warm when served. Could have a bigger variety of condiments although I understand why not. Congested when entering and trying to get in line. Bought a quiche at 1pm for lunch..not fresh. Overall decent food. Would go back.
I like La Madeleine and have been a regular customer. I really like the coffee however on my last two visits, they ran out of the dark roast I like and I wish there was a way to warm it up. Luke warm coffee is not that good !
We went after Dinner to have coffee and cake. The atmosphere was ok but the staff was less than helpful. Had to ask for everything,no help was offered. The coffee was better at McDonalds and my cake was so hard I had to cut it with a knife.I cant remember the name but it had some sort of caramel filling and some strawberries. I could only eat half of my cake. My husbands cake was Sacher Torte, but nothing like the real thing from Austria. All in all, it was disappointing and for the price we paid, we won't be back.
Went in tonight with my girls for a treat only to find the counter almost empty. The employee told us they had been "slammed" tonight while the place was empty and his co- worker was emptying what was left in the bakery case. This was at 8:30 and they don't close until 9!!! I have a feeling they were more worried about cleaning up then making a sale. By the time we left at 8:37 the entire case was empty. So if the Manager or Corporate is concerned about evening sales you can thank your quality employees!
I used to love this place when it first opened. But this time, I was disappointed. The servers behind the counter seemed to not be listening to my daughter and I. The potato galettes they served us were burnt; She didn't charge me for it. My drink glass was filthy; I handed it back and asked for a to-go cup instead. Overall, it just seems to be going further downhill with each visit.
Second time going here and I was reminded why I have only been twice. The place was almost empty and they were out of the potato gallette and said it would be 30-40 minutes before they were ready. They did offer a substitute and my dad chose the blueberry muffin. When I went to get our coffee, the regular coffee canisters were empty and the staff hadn't bothered to replace. So I had to remove the empty canisters to get the full ones at the back. When our breakfasts came out, the croissants that came with our breakfasts were both cold like hey had just come from the cooler. Not even room temperature or warmed up. You'd think a place like this would at least warm up their croissants? Anyways, extremely disappointing and won't be going back.
My family is in town from Michigan for my brothers wedding. During our breakfast the manager came over to our table, came up to my dad and asked, “ a man of your size, why wouldn’t you sit in the middle so you don’t block the isle?” My dad wasn’t blocking the isle at all or being disruptive. We have a party of 12 and we all looked up dumbfounded that the manager was so so insulting to my dad.
