This place was suggested by a friend.. so we decided to try it. I had the Pot roast hash and it was delicious!! The service was amazing, great atmosphere, we liked it so much we went back the next day and took our family..amd they really enjoyed it. This is definitely going to be one of our favorite places to go to.

There food was awesome and it came fast too? My wife and I loved the people, the service and the food! We walked 1.3 miles in 90% humidity. So you know we can’t lie for it has to be worth the walk!

New to the area, have eaten there 3 times! Some of the best comfort food I’ve ever had. Best mashed potatoes in a restaurant best chicken fried steak in Dallas and the brunch oh my God the birds Benedict!!!!

My ex and I pigged out there when they first opened on Oaklawn and went back occasionally and they have always had delicious food at amazing prices. Yesterday we were looking for some fried food and just happened to drive by so we went in. It had been years since we had been there, and their chicken fried steak was amazing. It was so good that I had to find them on fb to write a review. All of Oaklawn is disappearing with new buildings replacing them so we will be going back once a week now before this wonderful restaurant is gone too.

Love this place!! We live in Deep Ellum and only Door Dash from here! My bf loves the pot roast and will pretty much only eat it from you guys ! Keep up the good work. Comfort food in the middle of the city!������

I just love this place! The staff is so experienced and nice. The food is top notch! I don't think that I have ever had anything bad here. Just love how friendly and accommodating the staff are here, I can't say enough nice things. Try the brussell sprouts are amazing!

Love the old time diner feel to this place. They even have counter seats. The food could suck it'd be worth it for the atmosphere. But, the food is quite good here definitely worth checking out. The waitstaff is personable and efficient. A really cool place to check out if you've never been.

Good food, great staff. Went back to basics. Wish they would bring back grilled chicken Brest with cream cheese but other than that very good. Only drawback is parking or lack there of.

There was hardly a wait time, the food was good but Our server was not very attentive toward me and my friend.......the busboy was more helpful. The server was an old queen who’s probably bitter because his show business dreams didn’t come true......oh well at least he got a $2 tip from me.
