Frank's super awesome delicious carne guisada plate on special today for $7.95 It's served with rice, beans, and a large homemade flour (aka flower) tortilla Or Frank's (healthy choice) chalupa plate for $6.95. Its 2 flat and crispy corn tortillas with beans on top along with ground beef (OR chicken) cheese, lettuce, tomato, and avocado. Rice and beans on the side.

We stop at Manuel’s on our way home from SPI vacation every year for their awesome breakfast tortillas. Great food!

They have the best and biggest homemade flour tortillas that you'll find anywhere. Be prepared for a possible wait to get in as everyone wants breakfast with Manuel, Frank and Jay. It is definitely worth the wait, the food is always delicious and I've never been disappointed.

The food was GREAT, and the Tortillas were delicious and HUGE!!! I had the pleasure of meeting Manuel, and he knows all of my Family from Port Isabel......it was AWESOME!!!!

Super excellent service and delicious, affordable, authentic Mexican food! Definitely recommend and will be back every time we visit SPI!!! Don't forget your CASH since credit/debit card is not an accepted form of payment. :)

One of the best places to eat breakfast in Port Isabel Texas locally owned and operated by owner and his family. you will never get a bad meal. Expect a wait sometimes 15-20 minutes but it's well worth the wait. the food is delicious and there homemade hot sauce is very unique it's addictive you can't just eat one bite you just keep dipping the chips and salsa more and more... his tacos and burritos are huge you will not leave their hungry. And Manuel's two boys Jay and Frankie will keep you entertained while you're eating.

My family and I moved to the area about a year ago... we have tried pretty much every place Port Isabel and SPI have to offer. I haven’t found a place I dislike yet but I sure know where my favorite place to eat is... Manuel’s takes your favorite foods supersizes it and makes it 10 times better!! They always treat you like family and when you leave you can’t wait to come back for more!! And the salsa.. lol don’t even get me started on that, love this place an recommend it to anyone in the area looking for great food!!

Manuel and staff are so nice and the food was excellent. Potato, egg and cheese breakfast was the perfect choice.

It is the perfect place to eat. We were treated wonderful and the breakfast is one of the best.

Huge sports fan with pennants hung. Oregon Duck Fan with a great story on his Duck Pennant given to him by a WSU fan. We will eat here every trip from now on.

If you want to be treated like family while eating delicious food at a great price, Manuel’s is for you. Our favorite dish is picadillo con todo, big enough to take half home for later. The homemade hot sauce is the best around and you can buy a jar to take home for only $5. Bring cash (no credit cards). You may have a short wait, but it will be worth it. Check it out (in Port Isabel, Maxan Street).

I loved the food and loved the people even more. Great service with a smile.

I was upset about a couple that was made to leave with their puppy. This is a vacation place for all. Don't people have pets in their home. I did not have a problem with their puppy and I guess people just like to complain. I would love to say to that couple, sorry for others ignorance

I have been going to Manuels since I was a teenager. 1st stop friends and family request when they visit. They bend over backwards to make you meal what you want. Food is delicious. I have withdrawals after a while and have to go. Hot sauce is the beat ever. If you see a line- it is worth the 15 min wait

Always worth the wait! The enchilada sauce tastes like fresh roasted chilies and their picadillo is top notch.
