We believe that it is so important to provide not just jobs, but quality learning experiences and growth opportunities for the young people in our community. That's why, tomorrow from 10am-2pm at the HISD Hattie Mae Building, McDonald's owner/operators are participating in Mayor Sylvester Turner's Hire Houston Youth event. We invite Houstonians ages 16-24 to participate in on the spot interviews and job offers— just bring a resume, Texas ID and social security card. Good luck!

It's the most fun weekend of the year! The McDonald's Houston Children's Festival is back on Saturday and Sunday, March 30-31, and we can't wait for you to see what we have in store! Meet PAW Patrol, Princess Presto, Anthony Gonzalez from Coco and Ronald McDonald and all of his friends at the largest children's festival in the nation! Watch how much fun we had last year—will you join in on the fun again this time around? We hope so!

Batter up! Local McDonald's owner/operators had a ball providing breakfast for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston 's baseball clinic, hosted by Houston Astros second baseman Tony Kemp. We think he learned a thing or two about stealing bases from our very own Hamburglar! ⚾️

Remembering this special event McDonald's Owner-Operators hosted last summer with Houston City Council Member Jerry Davis, District B to help students gear up for the school year with free immunizations, health screenings, supplies, and backpacks.

Black owner/operators have impacted the McDonald's brand in countless ways— including the menu. Phil Hagans was the first black owner/operator to sell items such as catfish, grits and teacakes in his restaurants. He was also the first black owner/operator from Houston highlighted in the Wall Street Journal and to receive to receive the Ronald Award. #BlackHistoryMonth

The BMOA of Houston has hosted their Annual Bike Giveaway for years to raise awareness for the need of bikes in our surrounding urban Houston areas and provide as many of them as possible. To date, the BMOA of Houston has given away 1,500 bikes and helmets to honor the mission that no child misses out on the freedom, confidence and fun that comes with riding a bike. #BlackHistoryMonth

So tonight my dad who is down trying to haul for the railroads in his 18 wheeler. He has been working a week straight to help everyone get back to their daily lives after whats left of hurricane harvey. ( he hasnt had a hot meal since monday.....well today is saturday!) He was told they can't serve him. I am a manager of a cooperate food establishment, i am well aware you have rules to follow. Although in certain situations it is ok to bend the rules. They could have at least gave him something. Nothing is open for the late truck drivers, but fast food. And you not serving him resulted in 2 military men walking out because of it. Absolutely ridiculous.! Just remember McDonalds without truck drivers America stops!!! So you may want to treat them with a bit more respect and courtesy in the future.
