Ivan was the sweetest young man. He was not only an awesome waiter, but, he shared with us that he has been here in the states only a few months, from Macedonia, where my family is from. If someone from the Cafe reads this, tell him we wish him well and hope he stays!!!!!

In town for DragonCon and was on the way past to go to an event for the con, when I heard the sounds Weird Al being karaoked and I knew it was a great place. After my event went south, I decided to give Metro Cafe Diner a try and I was not disappointed! Food was delicious and plentiful, drinks were good, and the karaoke DJ had great energy and a great set of pipes too. Will definitely go back next time I'm in town.

I went to GA for my bday and it was walking distance from the Ritz and we had lunch and came back later for dinner...it was that great!! The bartender Alex is the best...I really enjoyed myself

Had the hummus and pita for a starter and it Rocked! Then had the Greek combination platter and it was wonderful! Need carpet cleaner but I was there for the food! Good food and a lot of it! I'm a big guy (6'2" and 260) I had a carry out!!!

for them letting me stay around for so long there overnight. While I could not afford going to a motel at that particular occasion, they allowed me to continue to stay there for some hours as long as I patronized their business, which I gladly did so. 👍😀

As one of the DJs who play at Metro Cafe, this place is one of my favorites to play! It’s the only place where dancing and karaoke is happening safely in downtown Atlanta. I mean it’s open 24 hrs so I can eat when ever I want. And the place is very unique with 3 levels and neon lighting around a bar with flat screens everywhere. If your out of town or at America’s Mart, this is a must go to spot for fun. It’s the place everyone finds themselves at after the conference or going to the club.

We ate breakfast and dinner there today. Food and service were excellent. Until, a tall slender dark haired so called management type person was dropping the f bombs behind myself and my 12 yr old grandson. He was chewing out 2 servers up on the 3rd floor in the middle of the dining area. So very unprofessional in my opinion. That is what the office is for. JS.

I used to come to this place every time I visit Atlanta and loved it so I'm super excited that now I have moved here from Florida I can enjoy this establishment more often.. great energy..

I think my waitress's names was Esther! Excellent customer service! She was kind and considerate and made sure we were happy with our food! My kids enjoyed the atmosphere! We went in for breakfast. I enjoyed the music! It gave me a little pep in my step and got me geared up for my day!

Great food, but the music was somewhat loud, although I love the music that was playing an also, we sat up top and I was to close to the people across from us, but I still enjoyed it��

The food is really good but the wait for the food is horrible. This the only restaurant I go to and have to wait 30-45mins for simple food like chicken wrap or wings. Also it’s really cold in there which makes you a little uncomfortable with the wait. Seating space is also very tight so don’t look for any leg room when seated.

Great food and service ( 7/2) .... And how great was it that our servers and I share the same birthday.... 7/3 Changed my rating due to going back last night and receiving bad service from the bar, sooooo the rule is 6 ppl no split check and 18% gratuity, not only did you split the check and charged each one of us 18% you also charged someone else drink on my ticket and argued with me , saying I had the drink, after 10 min you realized you didn’t charge the correct person, no apology!!! We could’ve told your manager you were drunk , and if I order a tequila sunrise and you know damn well it’s not one of your specialty drinks , why not mention that instead you charge for the tequila and the juices separately.. food was good... SERVICE on 7/3 bar area horrible!!!

Well, after having frequented this establishment for several years, they have apparently decided to no longer serve me. I did nothing wrong, have always been nice, and spent quite a bit of money there. Tonight they refused to seat me based soley on the fact that i had a sleeveless shirt on. I have worn them in there for several years as well. They were perfectly fine with my girlfriend or any other female who had on a tank top or similar. That seems a bit sexist to me no matter how you look at it. Well, Metro Cafe Dinner, you will never see another dollar from me or the five other people i was there with.

We sat there for 45 minuets before they brought out the water our food took forever to come and then getting our receipt was a joke, the food was cold and tasteless

The worst food ever. Awful service. Nayra knows nothing about the menu. Drinks are lousy. Selection is abysmal. If the health department walked in mid-day/mid-week, they’d be shut down. The restrooms are deplorable. Where is all of the money going? To pay for the renovations? Shrugs shoulders. Won’t be back. #gross #bubble guts #✌🏾

It all starts with the manager sitting me in the front room with no other people. I asked if I could sit in the main room and was told by the hostess that they were going to seat more people in the room right away. But the next 20 people were seated in the dining room above me, along with the hostess having to wait on me while doing her job. You wonder how I was dressed or my demeanor, well I was on business with very nice attire with a sport jacket and well groomed! I felt I was an outcast. Food was mediocre at best.

I think the fuck not ! Waiting over 20 mins just for the waiter to acknowledge us before putting us on the list to be seated . Then another 20 mins to be seated . The waitress couldn’t even be bothered to bring silverware or ketchup. It was my first time there and I feel like a joke was played on me . Even in the bathroom someone peed on the whole floor . Like there was even wet Tissue on the floor outside of it .



Then the food . Our not listening waitress messed up both of orders and drinks . Took forever to get the bill . It was just all around trash

I have had better service at fast food restaurants. After waiting for some time and being passed up by the host. Finally two girls had just walked in when the host ask them how many. The two girls then told him that I have been waiting there for a while. Instead of being courteous he became defensive asking me in a snide way if I had said anything to anyone and that I should have said something so I could be seated. He asked me how many. And I told him one. He then looked at me in an odd way and ask me if I wanted something to go because the restaurant didn't have any small tables. I told him no. He told me that I need to wait because he couldn't sit me at a regular table. I then told him nevermind and he responded, okay have a good day. I've never been treated in such an ill manner for being at a restaurant alone. This was my first time and I will never return again or recommend it.
