We just came from there. We had a coupon for a free pizza. Not only was it excellent, loved how clean the place was and how courteous and friendly the staff was. I've always thought Campisi's had the best pizza, but this really rivaled it!
Their pizza is sooooo good! We ate there once and had leftovers and the leftovers are just as good! We've also ordered it as carryout and it was great! I'm from Chicago and finding good pizza in Texas is hard to find! I love that their pizza isn't ALL crust! Perfect balance of crust, sauce and toppings! Our only go-to place for pizza now!
Love Palio's! Best pizza in town bar none. My kids like be it as well. The service could be a little better but it's not a drawback in going there.
It was so delicious!! I had the salad and personal sized pepperoni pizza combo, the peach tea was so delicious as well!! I’ll definitely be going back
Amazing service and even better food!
I eat here all the time, and everything I've tried is superb! The employees are all very helpful and polite. Plus, they have great specials and coupons going on all the time! Would definitely recommend for family outings, dates, studying, etc. Great and clean environment :)
Always have great service and any meal is delicious, giving me that kick i needed to finish the rest of the work day! Great staff!
Ive sat and read a lot of peoples reviews a majority seem to have had a horrible time. They may have and im not going to discredit because I personally don't know there situation.
I have celiacs disease and im pretty proud how you accommodate gluten free for people. I don't not eat gluten because I want to . Its because I have to. Its not an allergy its an intolerance. It will make me sick and anyone else that deals with this disease. You have to make sure that your employees aren't sitting gluten free pizza crust on your pizza crust areas and where you put flour. Or its not gluten free pizza its called cross contamination . I don't know if you have a certain area for that and a certain pan to cook them on.
So far so good. But I just want to stress that. Its important.
The place is clean in the resteraunt . The service is good the few times Ive been.
As far as the women's bathroom. Yes I wondered why the sink was brown and stained in such a nice looking restraunt. Was the least of my worries.
Great pizza! My favorite is the buffalo chicken pizza without ranch dressing. Once they doused it with ranch & it ruined it. Friendly service. Good salads. Great lunch specials.
Nice ambiance. Food is good. But it is a restaurant that can't decide if it wants to be fast food/self-service or a dine in restaurant.
Big menu, lots of choices, but you pretty much better know what you want because you have to order at the counter with everybody waiting behind you for you to make up your mind. My wife won't go back because she doesn't like to be rushed.
We ordered the "Classic" pizza and a Gyro sandwich. Pizza was good, very good crust. Sandwich was good, or it was once they put the other half of the ingredients on it that they forgot the first time.
Go the extra distance and use all that staff to really wait on tables.
I used to love to eat at this place, but the last few times I've come the food has been awful. Its just not the same anymore, my pizza was dripping in oil and I was sick to my stomach after eating my pizza. Then I tried it again figuring their stuff would be good like it used to be, but no, the chicken in my salad was horrible--like it needed to be cooked more. Not to mention they forgot the chicken in my salad the first time around and so had to wait for them to remake and still it was awful. I was really disappointed because I used to love this place. :( what happened to my sweet delicious Palio's and the nice female manager.
This place was chaos at lunch. Food was fair at best but we had to wait for a high chair to be available and then discovered no changing table in either bathroom, nor any paper towels, toilet paper leaning against the wall instead of on the spool (no spool in sight) and a nasty brown sink. Glad we were just passing through town so we don't stop by again.
Sitting here with 6 other groups of people and not a single person has their food. We have been waiting for over 30 minutes and some of the others ordered before we got here.
Ordered spaghetti and meat sauce sent it back twice could not see any meat then was told manager was cutting back on things and they put their meat in a blender that is why you can't see it. That is ridiculous when I order meat sauce I expect to see the meat. Will never go back. For the prices they charge you expect more than that.
We won't be back.. Very disappointed. Service was terrible. They brought our orders out about ten minutes apart. My order was not complete, bread came out after I was done. They did give me cheese cake for the wait. Food was decent but not for the price. Cookie was burnt and we had to wait awhile for that. I saw them mess up several other orders both in house and to go orders. Heard a mouth with a really bad attitude coming from the kitchen. I am not a very picky person but I will take Jimmies or The Villa any day. Sorry, just being honest.
Things did not start well and did not improve. After waiting for 15 minutes for the people in front of me to get their order in my order was placed. I was charged an extra 1.00+ to downgrade the lunch special salad to a caesar which they forgot to bring out until reminded. When I went to get my drink they had no Dr. PEPPER. There was almost no where to sit as most tables were taken or dirty. I counted and 7 tables sat dirty the entire time I ate my food. My order was also wrong. I asked for banana peppers but instead got every kind of bell pepper. My personal pizza was also soggy. I realize lunch is a busy time but its not like the staff are actually waiting on the customers tables. The young man who took our order and brought our food seemed to be taking orders, taking food out, busing tables. I sure hope he doesnt have to prep or make the food too! The time before this visit I came in with my mother from out of town who refused to eat there because we were over whelmed with a horrible moldy wet mop smell as soon as we walked in. I enjoyed my first visit but will not return. This establishment is lacking competent supervision.
So I've tried this place for the third time, not that impressed still, pizza is okay, I almost swallowed an olive that absolutely tasted like it went bad, I'm pregnant so I'm really hoping I don't get any food poisoning, the creamy Italian dressing tastes more like ranch, the tiramisu seems like it wasn't cut with a clean knife.... And I really hate it when I sit at a table and the table has smears on it because there is no elbow grease put into the busting of the tables, 3rd opportunity, won't be back.
Really wish I could give this place zero stars. We used to love going there, but seems like each time it has gotten worse and worse. The staff is terrible and I have gotten sick the last 3 times I've eaten here. It used to be fantastic, but after being sick all weekend, we won't be coming back.
Placed my order over the phone, I arrived 20-25 minutes early, the girl at register knew I was there waiting, she never notified anyone that I was there waiting on my pizza, then two young men came to the register I guess they thought I was there just to sit out in the foyer. I asked about my order and the gentleman said yes it's ready. What happened to good customer service, the female said oh I'm sorry we have been very busy, wrong damn response, she should have attempted to see what and why no one acknowledged why I was just sitting out in the foyer. I said to the young man that checked me out, in order to give good customer service ask the people that just sitting have they been helped or can you help them with something, I can say the young man was very apologetic and addressed me with yes mam, he's the only one that seemed truly sincere. Not enough for me to ever patronize this place AGAIN!! I want be back nor will I recommend this place to anyone!!!
My family and I used to come to Palios all the time and received great service. Now it seems no one cares. I noticed the shift when you lost one of the female managers, Amber. It was always nice coming in and seeing her smiling face. She seemed very on top of everything which is something needed now. We won't be back unless she is back.
