Patsy’s is going to be swampy tonight! Get your boos on!
Join us for a rockin' night with local lovelies, Ready Betty! A little bit of rockabilly, a little bit of swing and a whole lotta fun!
The Therapy Sisters bring their unique sound and folk-pop sensibilities to Patsy's TONIGHT!! Come on down have a cocktail and get warm!
Patsy's is happy to welcome a new employee, Van Warden, to be our official greeter on Monday nights from 5-8 p.m. Our gain is Hill's Cafe's legacy, as he was a wonderful greeter there for many years! We hope our chicken fried steak can measure up, but we definitely can tell the friendliness will be as good!
Great article on #Patsyscowgirlcafe from our friends at #Communityimpact! Come join us for #HH and live music six nights a week!

We had such a great time!!! The food and service were excellent and the music was outstanding! Kayla Outlaw is a star in the making and Dana McBride and Jack McCabe were excellent as always!
They hire the most loving staff!
The grilled chicken salad was very good and size appropriate; the draft beer was cold. The music provided by the Lisa Litman Band was excellent; what troopers.... they had performed a show in a another town earlier that same day. Obviously they love what they do! Love the homemade-pies display case when you walk in the door; it takes you back to a different time and place. Great atmosphere!
The food is delicious, I always order the Sandra Bullock sandwich plus onion rings and fried pickles, the music is outstanding, they have country and bluegrass music 3 times during the week and on Saturday night is very good. Try it once and you'll see, incidentally no cover
Saturday night it was great. No wait. Fast service. Good food (chicken fry steak) good price. Atmosphere cool. Oh throw in couple ladies with 1 guitar and a wash board of some type( good)
Then the main band was awesome. Civil wars type style music
Very impressive. I will be back
Patsy's is a character all unto itself, a great character. The food is decent, the service is awesome, the people are great, and on this particular night the music was perfect.
Patsy's food is wonderful, wait staff very attentive, hostess Rhonda is wonderful, stage for music is great and the sound is wonderful......All in all, a great cafe
Patsy's Cowgirl Cafe has good food and some amazing music. The atmosphere is definitely Western Honky Tonk. Good to take out of town guests and close to the airport. I have spent some really fun evenings there with friends. Classic Texas menu. Chicken fried steak, BBQ, nachos, fried sweet potatoes. You won't leave hungry. Full bar. Indoor/outdoor dining. Parking.
Outstanding food and service! Love the chicken fried steak. Folks working there are as nice and polite as can be, that's why I keep coming back!
My first time here, the food was delicious and the service was great. I would definitely recommend stopping by, it’s a popular place.
Best music & friendly atmosphere
Multi genrationally friendly! Tex-Mex meets Southern Comfort and easy on the wallet, (means go easy on the wait staff). Remember 4 stars on FB does not equal a 4 star establishment! South Austin y'all, BE COOL or don't go at all.
I like "Patsy's!!!! Only thing, need more "dumplings" in the chicken and dumplings and no carrots!! Less pepper in your blue cheese dressing!!!! The pot roast is to "die for"!!! I'll be back!!!!!
Good food and friendly service. Stumbled across this place looking for something before our tournament baseball game. We have told our whole team about it and we will be back next time we are in Austin area
Must have been an off night. I had the KBH Fish Sandwich; toppings were soupy, fish was over cooked. Poppers were tough, and husband's 'medium rare' steak was overlooked to the long end of medium well. He sent it back (a rare action for him, pardon the pun) and the next one was cool-rare. He frequents the place for lunch and enjoys it, so I guess they weren't in the groove Saturday.
Just ate there and I'll probably never go back. The food was okay but it was another customer who pissed me off. She came to try and tell us that a two year old was too loud...the nerve. I will be talking to the manager on Monday cause they weren't there....go figure. Some people no class...spent more money at my table then that old lady did all day...to bad. Word of mouth goes a long way. Her Saturday night out...lonely people looking for friends. Country folks....lol.
Fun atmosphere! Good home cooking. I went with the blackened fish taco. Nice heat to the jalapeno slaw. I had my first piece of Chess Pie, thank to the super nice waitress, so suggested it. I was there pre dinner crowd, but it looks like it would be a lot of fun, live music and all. Good margarita as well!
The service was fast and friendly. My mixed drink was excellently made! Very disappointed that the entree serving sizes have gotten smaller (on my LBJ sandwich, friend's meatloaf, and salad- all to-go). He also said his meatloaf (his fav dish from there) wasn't as good as it used to be. The chili cheese fries appetizer was great and a larger portion than either of our dinners. Kinda squashed our craving for Patsy's. We live out by Bastrop so will try closer options as its not quite worth the 36 mile round trip anymore.
I'm going to give it another try, let me say that first off...but this time i was not impressed. Got Cajun shrimp tacos and they were not good. Rice tasted like that stuff you buy in a bag and stick in the microwave. Everyone at work goes on about how great it is...guess i just ordered the wrong thing.
