Wonderful wagon Wednesday. Beef enchilada nachos are so good. Vegetables are great today.
Wonderful food and outstanding waitress. Our favorite place to eat in Brownwood
Valarie is an awesome waitress and was refilling my tea without asking and made sure my hash browns were done.crispy, which I love... Keep up the great work! Love the Wagon!!!!
This is the best place to eat. Home cooking. Waitress are so cool. Have been there many times. Always a happy place to be
There was a time when I only enjoyed coming here for breakfast by myself, and then later it became a place I (sometimes begrudgingly) went with my family for Sunday lunch. The service overall has been great in all that time so long as you didn't give the waitresses a reason to give you a hard time :). The main difference I've noticed in the last few years is better quality and variety in the food offered, in particular the daily lunch specials (which they now post daily on their facebook page!) But my go-to regular menu favorites include the breakfast special, the Club Sandwich, or a bowl of true Texas chili. Several reviewers have mentioned the smoke, which can be an issue if you are not a smoker, but they have increased the area of the non-smoking section over time. It's a true old school diner...the kind of place you expect to see Guy Fieri go "rolling out" to on Triple D. And if that doesn't sound like a recommendation, then I guess you must not like Guy Fieri. NEXT!
Red Wagon is like eating at my Grandmother's house, home cooked and surounded by family. My family and I have been coming here for years. We just love it.
Our server was amazing she was had a great attitude. The food was great for all of us especially the three year old.
My husband and I always love to eat there when we are in brownwood. The food is awesome and cheap. And the service is excellent. Would highly recommend it.
It's wonderful. I've been a few times over the years and every time it's very good with very cheap prices. I'll definitely keep going there for years to come.
I ABSOLUTELY love All of the girls at The Wagon. They go above and beyond for their customers. No matter how THEY are treated. They treat you like FAMILY. The food is good, prices are Great!!
Had a great breakfast here yesterday! All the food was perfect!!! Keep up the great work!!!!!
Great place its one of my favorite's place for breakfast.
Came at lunch today and sat at the counter ! The Friday menu was hard to chose from so I went with the Tower burger ,Perry had the open roast beef sandwich !! It was great ! We enjoyed coming in and hearing the waitress talk ! Their so friendly and happy ! I guess you might say we found our watering hole ! Can't wait to come back again !
The food and service are awesome. We don't smoke so that was an issue. I should have read more before stopping. If they could enlarge the non smoking section I would eat there again in a heartbeat.
I love the Red Wagon for the nostalgia, the coffee, the perfect waitresses, people watching, & great variety of food. Breakfast is my fav!
I have been going to the Red Wagon since High School Days which was in the 50's ! It is a great place to eat, and meet friends!!
Service was great as always! In the last year the quality has gone to hell. I got the worst cheeseburger ever. Last 3 visits have had poor quality food. This was our favorite place to eat. Something is going wrong in the kitchen.
Most of the time it is good . But yesterday it was not good . It was breakfast and it was not good . It was not cooked the way we ordered . This has happen a lot when we have been there for breakfast . .
I really don't have much to say about the place last time we ate there we found hair in our food but the waitress took it into the kitchen her self and got them to fix it .
We are regulars at the Red Wagon and we don't like to give out bad or poor reviews but I have to speak up today. We came in for breakfast this morning and usually the service it top notch but the waitress we had today was terrible not a bit friendly and when I get a negative feeling than the whole experience being there is negative and we told the waitress what we wanted and my husband told her plain and simple what he wanted and she said it back to him and I said "no" hash browns he wants tomatoes and when I ordered told her I wanted 2 o/e with hash browns bacon and "buttered" toast. We waited a good while and when I seen our food was there waiting to be served to us our waitress was getting drinks for another table and she waited to deliver them to the table so she could "butter" her pancakes and all the while our food was still sitting in the window getting "cold" when she brought the food to our table she sat it down and I looked at my toast and it was "not" buttered at all like I wanted it and our food was "cold" but we ate it anyway, she went back and brought more toast to the table and flopped it down and it was almost burnt and again "no" butter what so ever on it, she never asked if we needed more tea until we were almost finished then and only then she said "sweet tea" I said no "unsweet" for my husband never asked if I would like more I don't care if I needed some or not she could of asked me. When we got up to leave I picked the ticket up and looked at it and no where on the ticket did it have "butter" toast on it just had " T" I guess for "toast" so how does the kitchen know to add butter it's because she didn't put "butter" toast on the ticket so it didn't have butter on it at all if she waits on everyone like she did us today I really do believe you need to find another waitress she is ruining a great restaurant with her terrible attitude and very bad service. She will never wait on us again if she comes to our table I will get up and move to another table she also needs to learn how to add a smile to her face carrying a frown all day is not good....We love the Red Wagon and love all the waitresses but this one I don't know her name but she would have gotten a much better tip if she did her job without a big frown on her face and serve hot food. We will be back just "not" her waiting on us.
