Went with a small group of people to eat and enjoy some time together.must say, the food was great, the server was very courteous and met our every need in a timely manner. Great atmosphere too, definitely be going back in the future.
This is my favorite go to place to eat. I'm there almost every day! Gracie and the gals take really good care of me. I know most of the girls by name and they are all so sweet and friendly. Fast service and great food even when the place is packed!! Most already know what I'm going to drink and how I like it served.
Ricky the owner is always out talking to the customers and I like his management style!
Great breakfast with a variety of options. They'll cook it just the way you want it!!
Red Zone is our families favorite place to eat. You get good food for a very reasonable price. We eat there several times a month!! They are extremely busy on weekends ....but it worth the wait to get in.
My NEW favorite spot... I was pleasantly surprised... The food was incredibly delicious & the service was excellent... This is my Mamasitas favorite spot & now ours as well... 🤗
Love the Red Zone! Food is great and the service is fantastic!! Eat there every chance we get. Breakfast all day, can't beat that. And love the Coffee.
Thanks Red Zone. Love Elva too.
Love eating here. Breakfast is great. And my kids love the food and I love the prices. Great service. Had a great waitress a while ago. Had an error on our order but she fixed and more. Left her a big tip. Will eat here on more occasions. Ty
Its a great home cooking place to enjoy comfort food, I would like to try different plates but i seem to get the same thing The Breakfast Chicken Fried Steak Plate..probably because visiting from SanAntonio,I HAVE to eat here!!...Great prices,Great staff and Fullfilling...:)
Have never been disappointed in Red Zone! We try to eat there whenever we are in town. I work with Ricky every year for about 4 years now on our annual all Lubbock Area High Schools Reunion. We have several events and our Kickoff Breakfast is on the Saturday morning before our big Saturday night event. We have NEVER been disappointed in this event either! Best waitstaff ever! Looking forward to this year!
Great food, fast. Don't know how they do it. The ladies are all awesome and friendly and they have the best catfish and chicken fry in Lubbock. IMHO.
First time to eat here,I was wanting breakfast how you would get at Grandmas house and they delivered it!! Great food and polite wait staff, thank you for an enjoyable meal.
Came to visit Lubbock from Dallas I did a search and this place had a great rating so we tried it out and we were not disappointed food and service was great and the staff was very courteous. I will return again when I visit
Breakfast was awesome the kids ate their food surprised me cause they don't eat eggs at home even if I fix them a breakfast like what they had
A Lubbock icon...If you want a great breakfast anytime if the day....Super lunch specials... I can't comment on the dinners because I've never had dinner there, but when a place already has 5 for breakfast and lunch how can you go wrong!!! Been having breakfast here for years and now taking my grandkids and they love it. My hope is they remember where PawPaw likes to eat and when the day comes that I can't get around they will continue to take me.
Yummy food. Friendly service but took a while to get a waitress to our table. They were standing around talking for about 15 minutes before anyone tended to us. The food was great though!
We eat here 3-5 times per week. We order pretty much the same 8-9 items each week.
On Friday's we were eating catfish. We enjoyed it and actually liked it better than the competition. I want cocktail sauce with mine, my sister wants tartar sauce. All was well until some cook decided to make some kind of nasty congealed/watery crap for cocktail sauce. The recipe for cocktail or Red sauce is easy and cheap to make. I looked in all of my cookbooks and red sauce IS NOT congealed,
My favorite item is beef enchiladas. With Mexican foods you get chips & salsa. I do not care for rice and beans. I ask for a substitute of a salad. The wait staff gets my order correctly...3 beef enchiladas, a sub salad, and chips & salsa (which come with Mexican food). The problem occurs when paying out. Since I don't care for beans and rice and subbed a salad then I have to pay extra for chips and salsa. The extremely rude, unprofessional, disrespectful cashier tells me I didn't order a dinner because I didn't want rice and beans, so I pay ala cart prices which brings my total to over $12. I'm really tired of this cashier and her lack of mental skills. She can't think. Then the night Mgr starts yelling to her that I'm to be charged for everything. We were embarrassed over the abuse from this cashier. I'm not sure, but I think her name is Nancy. Red Zone is the only restaurant in town that believes when you order 3 enchiladas with salad that you haven't ordered Mexican food, so you can pay for chips and salsa too.
We've already had to start bringing red sauce from home if we eat fish with you. It appears we need to bring the chips and salsa if I want Mexican food!!
Love the wait staff! The ladies are professional, fun, know us and do a great job even when we come in with 12-15 others.
I certainly hope the owner will make these corrections and we can continue to spend our money with you.
My son and I visited Lubbock this weekend and decided on Red Zone Café for dinner based on Trip Advisor reviews. The sports memorabilia was lost on us, but the food was really good. We had breakfast for dinner and it was very good! Very friendly and attentive staff, too.
I got a chef salad and it was good! I wouldn't say it was the best chef salad in the world but it was good. 😃
There was a cooked hair on my bacon and i informed the cashier and she laughed at me and i asked her if she thought that was funny and she said proably not to you while she was still laughing i asked her to imform management and she said ok and rolled her eyeballs at me when i was walking out.
Well after eating at Red Zone for years (over 15) I'm done went in about 6 p.m. and ordered they were not very busy, four ladies came in about 10 to 15 minutes after I did and got their order before me by the time I complained and got my food it was cold. Guess next time I want fried catfish I'll go somewhere else. While I was waiting to check out observed one of the cooks laying chicken strips on counter where they set plates to fill orders and picked them up with bare hands and put on plates. MAJOR health code violation. This used to be a good place to eat but I will not be back.
