About Salto Coffee Works
Situated in the elevated alpine town of Nederland, Colorado, Salto is a a café for our community. We proudly roast our own craft coffee onsite and serve up a delicious menu of food, beer and wine.
Salto Coffee Works Description
Salto is latin for leap or jump and is the name of the founders favorite run on our local ski hill, Eldora. Community café sums up best what we do here.
Located next to Tin Shed Sports, our space is a true gathering place for locals and visitors alike for many activities; a launch pad for adventures into the high peaks or local trails, an evening fundraiser complete with slide shows and videos or down-home live bluegrass on our patio.
We are greatly appreciative to be a part of such an incredible groundswell in our town.

It's the first event in our Summer Music Series - Fridays on the Patio!
Kick off each weekend this summer by The Clock Tower Collective. The patio has live music every Friday 6-8pm. Enjoy drinks and food, along with the bands. It's the ideal way to adjust your attitude for a playful weekend in our community.
The Gael play Celtic/Eclectic tunes. Their uptempo Celtic instrumental style is sure to make you smile. Influenced by Irish, Scottish, and Cape Breton tunes, the band al...ways strives to take their music to new levels of diversity. So the traditional Celtic may be mixed with Russian cabaret, American pop, Gypsy soul, etc.
Everyone in the group brings in new songs and tunes to add to their ever-changing repertoire. Their show is kind of like the Colorado weather: if you hear something you don’t like, the next tune will likely be different.
Band members, who all live in Nederland, include: Laura Fisher on hammered dulcimer Debbie Smiley on fiddle and backup vocals Phylleri Ball on accordion and bodhran Bill Ikler on guitar and backup vocals

About the Artist: Lika Gitis is mainly showing her body of work called REFLECTIONS - paintings of mountains reflecting in water. "We just have to reflect and see beyond the objects, so we can see through, inside, and out." Lika creates paintings and pattern designs to make things and space...s look positive, colorful, and joyful. Her kid's art studio, Sunflower Art Studio, gives her inspiration in the creative realm. Her under 12 year old student have taught her how to stay true to herself while staying open to the world. www.likagitis.com
About the Music: Half Pelican is a well-known Colorado duo, especially when you see them skiing to their gigs with fiddle and cello a-playing. Half Pelican plays cosmic acoustic groovy music inspired by Appalachian, Celtic, and Pr- Historic music. The couple, Andy Reiner (Whitewater Ramble) and Dr. Joy Adams (Professor of Music), have dialed in dynamic compositions and fill the sound with different instrumental combinations. When Half Pelican isn't on road, they play with Daryl Anger, teach music camps around the country, instruct at Naropa University, tour with other bands, or play studio sessions. http://andyreiner.nfshost.com/halfpelican /index.html

What a great place for an après-adventure beer and lunch! We hiked in Indian Peaks in the morning and came down for tacos and an IPA after. Loved the dog-friendly patio and the fresh food! We will be back!
The people, the food, the ambience-all were great. Will make the drive to Nederland again to enjoy this place.
The food is great and the space is beautiful. A perfect place to hang out and enjoy a great meal, a quick snack, or a nice beer, wine or coffee.
Salto is amazing. Good coffee... INCREDIBLE breakfast sandwiches, and the environment is perfect for a coffee date with a friend or a little work session away from the monotony of your home. I'd highly recommend it to anyone in Ned looking for a quiet, relaxing spot to hang out. PS- if you're there for an after-ride bite, the Papas con Chorizo always hits the spot.
Salto coffee works is amazing. We held the rehearsal dinner for my wedding here, and did a casual taco-night with both meat and vegan tacos. Everything tasted amazing, as usual. The beers on tap were top notch, the guac and hand-made salsa's could't be beat. My dad played acoustic guitar, and was able to start and stop at his leisure. The bartenders and staff were delightful, as usual, and the best part is that Karina and Chantal were so great to work with!
The food, coffee, beer and wine here are top-notch, but the people are out of this world. I highly recommend planning your next event at Salto Coffee Works!
Popped in for a burrito and a couple of iced teas on our way back from a hike in Ward. Iced tea was pretty amazing, not sure what it was but super refreshing. Burrito was definitely delicious, great carnitas. Wish we had had time to stay for a beer and some more grub. Will be back for sure.
My favorite place to visit when in Nederland and on way to visit cabin. Coffee is to die for.
Just stumbled upon this gem! The fried egg breakfast sandwiches are now something I can't seem to live without, darn you Salto!! ;-) Coffee, baked goods and service are also all amazing! Now to try the lunch menu!
I'm a coffeeshop aficionado, and Salt is my favorite of all-time. Wonderful people, beautiful interior, really good espresso and baked goods, and really awesome lunch options. I'm not so into the breakfast sandwiches, but that doesn't stop me from going in almost every day.
I love the food and the coffee. They use only the highest quality ingredients.
I love Salto!! Thank you for the friendly dog patio, fresh and healthy food, GF options, fantastic coffee, and organic soap in the bathroom is so appreciated <3
Great place, happy hour & the corn on the cob awesome check it out. We will definitely be back!
Great breakfast sandwich and coffee, the music playing made it a great atmosphere, and they had a fire going as well!
Good coffee selection and food. A few nice beers on tap too. The owners are friendly & the staff is usually cordial.
First time there. Just happened upon it!
How can you go wrong with tacos, beer, and coffee?!
Excellent coffee, beer, tacos and music. The folks that work there are super cool, friendly and just awesome. If you're in Nederland you should definitely check it out.
Best latte I've ever had. Spent the day here working on homework and it was the perfect place to get out of the house and still get stuff done.
Nice fried egg sandwich but only 3 (?) choices - please try to come up with some more. Glass of orange juice could be bigger. BUT nice space, lots of room outside.
Used to be my favorite spot. Would make trips up the hill from Lakewood just for the Salto sandwich. After a year away came back to a new menu. Overpriced burritos, unflavored meats, and mediocre quality ingredients. Not sure what sparked the changed, but we won't be back anymore.
