We had lunch there yesterday to celebrate Schlotzsky's Birthday. The sandwiches were great, the service was great, and the whole atmosphere was great! Never had a bad experience at this location. We drive all the way across town just for this location, it's got a much more relaxed atmosphere than the other locations plus it has a drive thru if we want to do that.

The manager's name is Jesse and he makes us feel like we are his most important customers every time we walk in. The thing is, he does this for every customer! Great atmosphere, amazing food and awesome people.

Earlier this week my wife and I were sitting in a booth eating lunch at Schlotzsky's Amarillo - S. Ross Street when a homeless man walked up to their outdoor tables and sat down. He wasn't asking anyone for anything, and as usual, most people were trying walk past him like they didn't see him. Within minutes, the manager came out from the back of the store, walked up to the man outside, and gave him food and water. We were loyal Schlotzsky's customers before, but this just confirmed our belief that they are a great organization and we are happy to have Schlotsky's restaurants in our community. Ordered a Cranberry, Pecan and Chicken Salad as I have done for 2 years now and get home and there is not one piece of chicken in the salad. I think this makes it about the 10th time in two yrs. So annoying. � Get it together salad makers.
