Whooo! It has been a busy week here at SCRATCH! I think I'll wind it down with a little Chicken Tortilla soup. I have to warn you though, we will be closing at 2 today for a road trip to Oklahoma to see this fool and his family! You might be able to tell how long we've been friends by the baby faces in this picture. Or maybe I took it yesterday. A lady never tells.(By the way, that's just a bb gun, mama didn't raise no fool.)

Are you like me, baffled and confused by ever changing weather patterns that just cant seem to "get it together"? Then head on down to SCRATCH for some good old consistency in the form of Baked Red Potato soup! It's good every time all of the time. Potato soup shakes its fist at the sky and laughs all while cradling you in it's loving potatoey arms. Also, it won't wake you up at 3 a.m. dancing in the rain in a bed sheet like your idiot neighbor apparently will.

If this is not what you are using then you have to ask yourself, "Do you even soup bro?" I can make soup out of just about anything with this bad boy. (And I do). Today it will be Broccoli Bacon Cheddar! Tomorrow? Who knows? Bricks and table legs? Why dont you come find out? P.S. Smoked Gouda Pimento Cheese is back in action!

Oh sweet, sweet Friday! Well folks, it looks like it's still a tad bit warm outside so Guisseppe and I would like to remind you of our spacious, air conditioned dining area and of course our Big 'Ol Ice Cream Sandwiches. It's the perfect way to beat the heat! Today's soup is Pumpkin Jalapeno!

I can also guarantee that it is much cooler in our dining room than it is outside. And if you'd like to stay cool between here and the car, grab one of these Big 'Ol Ice Cream Sandwiches. They're made with our cookies and brownies!

It's Thursday! And not just any thursday, but After Hours Artwalk Thursday! There is so much to do and see and hear and see and do! The corner of 8th and Scott will be keeping it cool for the whole family with indoor kids activities at TCCU and Healthy's Downtown as well as yoga at The Hive. And if you smell something delicious it's all the fantastic baked goodies here at SCRATCH! (Like these Ice Cream Sandwiches) See you all tonight!

Considered by many in the anthropological community to be the pinnacle of human and maybe even mammalian achievements, it's original recipe lost to the winds of time, the Chicken Tortilla soup has eluded us until now. Using painstaking reenactments and the car from Buckaroo Banzai, we have succeeded where so many have failed! Come, revel with me! It'll be ready at 11!

What a night! Thanks to all who came out to decorate Krispy treats! We'll be following up a fantastic Artwalk and wrapping up the week with our delicious Roasted Red Pepper soup. It goes great with a grilled cheese sandwich!

Tonight's the night! Art walkin' and art talkin' and everything in between! We are pumped to have B Cocoa Artisan Chocolates in the house for some crispy treat decorating and of course we'll have our regular menu available! Oh, and lest we forget, these crazy good Ice Cream sandwiches! Today's soup is Cream of Mushroom.

Everything I have had at Scratch is great! Today's fresh bread and roasted red pepper soup were to die for. The lemon roll pastry was so good too!

Delicious homemade food; I had the tuna salad sandwich with the red potato soup and it was wonderful! I really appreciate how all the to-go packaging is biodegradable as well 👏🏽 One of my new favorite places to grab a quick lunch!
