Love coming here. Live in NY but this is my spot for breakfast in TX. Not sure why they are closed now though? We need this place back open ASAP.
Great atmosphere, supports the community. Plus, free jokes!
Edit: Sadly, they've closed down unexpectedly. This shop will be missed.
Very friendly service. Trendy food but not a good value. Maybe after some time they will get better. The hot tea was over steeped and sappy. Sandwich was greasy. Grilled veggies were overooked. Small portions.
The food was decent, but so overpriced I have to give it 3 stars. I had a pork sandwich, cup of soup and a soft drink. My wife had a bowl of soup and soft drink. The total was $26. My cup of soup was only 4-5oz, while my wife's "bowl of soup was not much bigger. I think most of the reviews here are for coffee and not for the food they serve. If you want to spend a lot of money on medicore food, this is the place for you.
The chicken salad sandwich was so fresh and delicious I was able to forgive the under toasted bread. I would have been happy with toasted or not toasted, but partial toasting taste like stale bread.
The man behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. The ambiance is just calm and relaxing and Zen like. I'd like to try more of their offerings.
Simply wonderful! The staff is so inviting with their clever jokes and love for cats. Not to mention, the food is delicious. This is a great stop to come read or buy a book (or both!) while enjoying some crazy good food.
Top notch food and quite possibly the best espresso in Dallas. Great atmosphere and friendly staff, make the time to try this place if you haven't already!
Super friendly staff. Great cat videos. Nice coffee. And, nice food. Oh. And don't forget to ask for the joke du jour.
Awesome spot for morning coffee or lunch. Owner is a great guy and always has a joke ready for you when ordering. Great coffee and even better sandwiches.
Serj Books & Local Food (Permanently Closed) was a major letdown. The coffee tasted stale, and the pastries were bland. I won't be back.
