Love this place. Always has a great variety of international foods.

I'm trying out the vegan lifestyle and this place helps out with that. The East has mastered making good veggie dishes for some time now.

Prices are higher compared to other grocery store, owner and meat counter staff is rude they refuse to give fresh meat and forces to pick the old meat packed from the counter which is 2 days old.

The owner is very rude. Over the phone they are even worse. If you order meat and they tell it will be ready at a certain time, you cannot get it even after 2 hours of that. Overall very frustrating experience with them. Similar store 'New Madina Market' is way better!

It's cleaner and better organized than it used to be, but Man Pasand has a much larger variety, much better produce, and is immaculately clean.

The buffet is affordable and a great value. This place also has a funky grocery store with a variety of Russian and East Asian foodstuffs

It's not the best buffet, but it's not the most expensive either. It was definitely a value for the price. I'll be back for a tasty buffet.

Grocery:
The grocery is gross. If you visit this place do go and check out the garlic pods. They sell ones with fungus. I also bought a rice bag from them and it had bugs. I went back to return it and they took at least 20 min to decide what to do with the bag. The owner would refuse to give you a plastic bag if you purchase anything below 10 bucks(this happened only once). If you buy meat here then, they weight the meat before removing the fat and skin and charge you based on that. I believe you lose about 20% of weight when they do this.

Cafe:
The cafe however is really good. The food is great. Their lamb biryani is my favorite.

The lunch buffet is quite good but seems to vary. The owner and operator is very nice and friendly. I recommend ordering a skewer instead of the buffet as it is their best!

This store has great people and products!!! Very unique food selection, some of the greatest prices on fresh produce isle. Many new products that I tried here, became my new favorites! Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Romanian and other favorite groceries can be found here like no other place. There's always space to improve and it would help if they'd watch closer attention to exp. dates and cooling and freezing safety procedures. But it is still my favorite store!

This is my favorite restaurant in Austin. I happen to eat two to three meals a week at this establishment. I like that this cafe is attached to a small grocery and butcher shop. The meat is so fresh and grilled when you order it. I like that the food is not too spicy like other restaurants with a similar menu. They have a fantastic lunch buffet from 11am to 4pm for $7.99!! My favorite meat is the chicken tikka kabob lunch special with rice and spinach pakora. Ordering over the phone or online requires a little patience because of the language barrier sometimes, but you will come to appreciate the quality food served here. Their employees are a little shy at first but so pleasant once you get to know them.
