Such a lovely staff and menu! You should definitely stop here for your coffee while visiting historic downtown round rock! Less bucks than the Bucks too!
Star Co. Coffee is amazing! Great food, drinks and coffee! Amazing customer service! Their phones were unfortunately down and I posted here on Facebook asking what was going on and they were so kind to call us from a personal cell phone of one of the employees, Ashanti, who was so kind and even wrote us a personal message on our coffee cup! We definitely will continue to order our work lunches from y'all!! Oh and portion size for the amount you send is very reasonable and so delicious!
Love the atmosphere, fab coffee drinks, delicious food (had a veggie burger/sandwich), and they must have a French pastry chef hiding out in the kitchen because we ate the best macaroons we’ve ever had anywhere. Also, the cashier was very friendly and even made suggestions as he saw I was struggling to choose the perfect coffee drink.
Let's be honest, you had me at "we will bring the coffee to you". It was a life changing moment and I might have wept, a little. The gentleman who delivered our order was very friendly and pleasant, saying hello rather than handing it over and immediately racing off. The food was also very good and we were told we can get breakfast for dinner, too! Price is actually very decent and it's well worth it! Thank you so much, we will def be ordering again!
It's a great place to enjoy a mocha and play Pokemon Go! The staff are really friendly and all of the food and drinks I've tried have been good.
I've lived in town for the last 2 years less than a mile away and always said I was gonna go check that place out. I eventually did and was very impressed. Very nice cafe and excellent staff as well as a great menu selection. I wasn't sure what coffee to get so asked for a recommendation and was not disappointed with what I got.
I went here yesterday when I was in Round Rock for work. The cafe latte I got was excellent, the service was fast and friendly, and it has really neat decor. Plus, you should always support your local coffee shop!
I usually order a simple club sandwich when eating somewhere I have never been as a sure thing. My sandwich here had just the right amount of each layer, quality ingredients, did not taste bland like others I have had and the fries had the perfect amount of seasoning. I wish I had been more bold because they have a variety of choices for food and drinks so there is something for everyone. The neighborhood is charming and the people are friendly!
I love this coffee shop. Great coffee, great staff, great food. I wish there were a few more stuffed chairs, & maybe a sofa, but that's about all I would change.
Having spent 5 hours there tonight I can say Katie and the rest of the staff are a great bunch. Excellent food and beverages with a super friendly and capable staff. Can't wait to go back.
Greatest little piece of local heaven. Super friendly staff, plenty of room for lounging around, AND GREAT Coffee! Did I mention they have guilt free pastries with 0 calories, 0 carbs, 0 sugar, gluten free, and vegan? Okay, maybe the last part isn't true but the pastries look delicious!
Favorite place for a latte! Their quesadilla is also excellent! The atmosphere is generally calm, great place to visit or get work done, and if you need a break, you can play pinball and arcades in the back!
Even though I'm really not a coffee drinker, I decided to look up their food menu on line. (My wife and I have been doing date night once a week, and we're trying to find new local places to eat.) Their food choices were varied, and their prices were very reasonable, so my wife and I decided to check them out. It was very good! The chicken caesar wrap was delicious, as was my wife's BLT. The sweet potato fries are delicious, though I must admit their regular fries are just...regular. But a really good appetizer is their cheddar cheese and bacon fries — none of that fake bacon, either. The bacon was a tad crispier than I like, but I can't say that's a bad thing because it's personal preference. The atmosphere is great, and there wasn't an overpowering smell of coffee in the air, either. The wait staff was friendly, and the prices were much better than what you'd think from such a nice coffee house. There was a lot of pedestrian traffic to watch out the window, even for a Tuesday night, so I can only imagine what this place is like on the weekend nights — maybe a bit like Central Perk on "Friends"?!
Coffee, freshly cooked food (breakfast all day!) and Amy's ice cream... Perfect for me. The staff is friendly and great--busy sometimes and I heard ppl complain about the service--it's not Starbucks so chill out. It's a great place to study during the day, gets a little lively in the evening, but I still managed to get some studying in.
Bottomless coffee, beer & wine, good affordable food (breakfast served all day). Great location (although I liked the previous spot across the street), ample seating (indoor + outdoor), nice lighting, live music frequently.
Great spot to meet friends, meet a casual date, work on homework, or pop in for a coffee if you're strolling through downtown.
My wife and I lunched at Star Coffee recently, partly because we had ordered several boxes of coffee for a morning event and we weren't able to include a tip for their efforts on the corporate charge card. They were extremely helpful on a cold, cold Saturday, so we returned Sunday to check out their lunches.
My wife had the Chicken Caesar Wrap, and I had the Turkey Club sandwich on whole wheat. I know mi esposa wolfed down her wrap, so it must have been good. My Turkey Club was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. I think the combination of quality ingredients and the jalapeños&chili lime dressing is what made this sandwich great. The sweet potato fries were great, too.
The reason why I down-graded this review from 5 stars to 4 stars is the attire of one of the wait staff. I don't mind employees wearing shorts to work. I don't mind employees wearing cut-off shorts to work. When the shorts are cut so short that the pockets are hanging out in front on the employee, personally I think that is too short. I spent well over a decade managing restaurants, and I don't think that attire is desireable overall. Perhaps I've become a prude in my older age. This employee, however, was extremely helpful when behind the counter!
My business partners and I love Star Coffee and have weekly meetings there. Everyone is very nice, the coffee and food is fantastic. I only wish they would turn the volume down on the music. It was so loud yesterday we had a hard time hearing each other! I'm all for loud music, but a Tuesday morning at 10am at a coffee shop isn't the time. Other than that, I would give it 5 stars.
Estar coffee they always have good coffee in lots of different pies and cookies to choose from with a nice casual atmosphere. I was trying to spend time there when I’m in town.
Waited over an hour for two sandwiches. The serving sizes where for a child. The food was great but not worth the money 🤷🏼♀️ They said their ‘ gourmet ‘ but let’s be honest...they aren’t. I probably won’t coem back
