Great Cafe with classic menu fare. Awesome potato salad. Best dessert in town. Chocolate merengue has real dark chocolate. Yum!! 🤗

I would give a higher rating but there is not enough Stars for more than 5. This place is very awesome. Whether you get a burger or the Fort Worth cheesesteak you can't go wrong. They're kettle chips are to die for. Not to mention the strudel or cinnamon rolls.

Food was great. Service was not. Four tables in the whole restaurant and the waitress spoke to us twice. She actively took care of other tables and engaged them - her version of service to us was to say "I'll be right back" and never show. Left payment on table for five minutes - she walked by, looked at it, and kept going. Will not be back.

THE BEST BLACK FORREST CAKE!!!! ALL of their pastries and cakes are divine! Their dine in menu is one of a kind, I would highly recommend this restaurant and bakery to everyone!

A great little, old fashion diner with excellent breakfast and pastry offerings. The dining room is small and cozy but not crowded. The price is decent and the food is just like grandma makes.

Their Black Forest cake is really really good. Fluffy and crunchy, the cream is really tasty, I could eat this cake all day long and not get tired.

HOWEVER...Their eclairs and cream puffs are some of the most atrocious pastries I've ever had at an extremely high price. The outside dough (choux pastry) was stiff and the inside "cream" was a truly cringe worthy thick sticky whipped cream and not the custard that normal cream puffs and eclairs have. It didn't taste good, was stiff, and extremely difficult to eat. I never thought a pastry could piss me off, but the cream puffs and eclairs here did. The Paris Bakery in front of Arlington High School does it so much better and they charge much less for each one. F-, See me after class.

I had the Sumo (potentially a limited time burger) and it's now my favorite traditional burger I've ever had. My admittedly indiscriminate palate was blown away at the flavors from a simple bacon cheeseburger. Absolutely fantastic. Oh, and they also have the best cake and pie selection in town...so there's that.

I have always gone to Swiss Bakery since I was a teenager. I grew up in Fort Worth off Camp.Bowie and Virginia Place. I especially like the Thumbprint cookies there. However, I wish they'd put a little more chocolate on the top of the cookies. I also am a huge fan of their puff pastry eclairs, I just wish they'd go to putting the vanilla custard in the center instead of the white icing. With all that being said, I love the Swiss Bakery !!! Lots of good stuff.

So. Darn. Good. The salad plate is my favorite: simple chicken salad, carrot cake sandwich, and a side of your choice (I love the sauerkraut). All for $6.50. You also can't leave without getting a dessert and they are all amazing. The mini cheesecakes are so yummy! Great service too!

The food is amazing! I have gone here about 5 times a year for something like 10 or 11 years. The wait staff has several people who have been there for the whole time. A nice comfortable place! I highly recommend it!

Holy cakey dreams, Batman!
This place has exquisite dessert, but the entrees lack a little.
+ $6 sandwich, $2.50 cake or pie
+ fresh, moist & creamy cake
+ delightful staff
- plain American diner food
- crowded atmosphere

This food has yet to dissapoint. We love coming to eat here and always make room for dessert. The flavors of the entrees are very well thought out. This chef knows what he's doing.

We went for lunch and tried two of the new burgers. They were so good. We will be going back for more. Also tried the Rubens and they were good. Of course the pies and cakes were to die for, love the chocolate cream pie and so many of their other desserts. Dinner menu sound good also.
