We were out for a cruise in the Vette and decided to stop in for the lunch buffet. Wonderful, made-from-scratch food. Best southern style green beans we've ever eaten anywhere. Mouth watering chicken fried steak and meatloaf, cheesy potatoes and cherry cobbler for dessert. Price is very reasonable. Service was awesome and the staff is super friendly. A great place to come and eat and have a good time. We really enjoyed our meal.

We live in Peaster and visited Millsap today! While there we ate at The Switch Cafe. It was a cute little cafe and the food was actually really good. Even had a super sweet older couple but the kiddos ice cream! Will def visit again!!! Everyone was so friendly!

We did not know what to expect the first time here. Our service team came on a catfish special day. It was awesome and the staff were super friendly inside the cozy country setting. My wife and I have been back twice now. We had the best chicken fried steak we have ever had the first time and then a fantastic meatloaf on the second. We loved the fresh salad bar which is something you do not typically see anywhere. Dessert is always a perfect amount served at the right time. This is a great place and should be featured on triple d honestly.

This is my favorite restaurant! Breakfast and lunch are totally worth the short drive. The lunch specials are wonderful! Service is always excellent!

The food never disappoints. The wait staff & owners always accommodate us with our young child. Enjoy the cozy, down home atmosphere & cookin. Easily one of our favorite restaurants this side of Ft. Worth. Did I mention their buffets? They are alway delicious and well stocked for your money's worth!

Love everything about The Switch - the fresh food made from scratch- the homemade pies - the friendly staff. The owners, Gary and Marie, never let me leave without a hug and a satisfied appetite. Have the chicken fried steak - you won’t regret it!

Great service & breakfast food - we arrived at 10:20am yesterday, and they do close for breakfast at 10:30am on a Saturday, but the waitress made a point of getting our orders, and making sure the cook was able to make them - I've been coming here for years every chase season, and it's always good, the service is friendly, and the place has real character - besides the "locals eat here", always a good sign �

Great food! The best home cooked meals you'll find anywhere. Good atmosphere, great people!



And for my 2 cents, for all of you that rudely complain about the food or the owners, whatever happened with the saying that says if you can't say something good, don't say nothing at all. If you don't like it, go eat somewhere else, where they serve the food you like.

Best chicken fried steak I've had in a long time. Salad bar with different kinds of salad was amazing. Service was exceptional. It was really nice talking with Marie. I plan to stop in again soon.

Three or four Homemade and unique salads on salad bar. Sunday buffet changes weekly and are like meal you would find at home. Trying Saturday breakfast and Seafood night next!

Our first visit was 072817 we really enjoyed the place. We went last night service wasn't great got a salad without tomatoes. Waitress seemed busy. We won't let 1 visit keep us from going back.

Party of 9 for a late breakfast. Very good except the biscuits were rock hard but we blamed that on the fact we walked in just at the end of breakfast. (Biscuits are the reason for only 3 stars). Met the new owners. There's good things in sight! Love the updates in the decor! We'll stick with them through their growing pains. We are regular customers and will continue to be! Keep up the good work!!

I wanted to like this place because it was highly recommended, but overall, I was disappointed. My husband and I both ordered the CFS. The steak was good. The baked potato was cold. Although my husband complained about the slightly burned gravy, I didn't find it too bad. (Nostalgia, I suppose.) I didn't mind the absence of a roll, but most diners would have expected one for the $10.95 price. The salad was not really a salad. A bag of greens was emptied into a bowl. It wouldn't have taken much effort to add cherry tomatoes, grated carrots, cucumber slices, etc. The service was prompt and courteous. The decor is charming.

Well honestly I couldn't tell you how the food was as we never got ours, after waiting for over 1hr we left! Not only was the wait long but other tables were getting their orders before ours.. The owner assured us we'd get our food as there were 3 cooks back there.. Sad to see this place go south as it seems it is, we loved eating there and supporting a local establishment..

Was going to make a quick stop to get a bite on the way back home after a long trip. I should have just gone to get a BIG MAC. The CFS was over cooked and the gravy was burned. Never going to do this again!!!

Too bad there isn't a 0 or negative rating. Last time we were there we got up and walked out. We couldn't get breakfast because we were too late but couldn't have a burger because they were still cooking eggs. When the owner yelled at my husband and the waitress about to cry, we got up and left. I've had someone else tell me the owner yelled at her too. I'm really surprised that this place is still open.

This place used to be so good, but since the new owners took over it has went downhill. The coffee is never right and the burritos have gotten smaller every week.

This place is terrible they decided to fire my sister just because she is a diabetic and they didn’t want to be responsible if something was to happen like really it’s just ridiculous and now are refusing to pay for what she had already worked for !!!

Marie is a horrible owner , she is rude , has no regard for the handicapped or her staff she treats them as they are nothing but disposable peasants beneath her royal feet. That is no way to run a buisness or treat your employees , because one day no one is going to want to work for you . P.s. Mark was a great boss wish they still owned the Switch
