So good! Biscuits are amazing. I can only eat eggs scrambled with lots of cheese, they do it perfectly. Their desserts are amazing too.

I'm new to Texas and saw a home cooking sign and stopped to eat. I must say, it was good and cheap. Right up my alley. Went a sec time and the service was great and the food was again good. Got so full with the portions I couldn't eat it all. I have a new home and a fav place to eat now thanks to Dixie cafe.

I have been eating at Theresa's for well over 10 years, they are a great family, they run several of the best family managed and family cooked restaurants. Thanks for the consistency and Thank God for teaching Theresa to cook flavorful food!

FINALLY! I went to a restaurant that served pancakes with a generous helping of softened, whipped butter on the plate! That makes SO much more sense, than providing only the little, tablespoon-sized and foil-covered "tubs" to open, dig out, and spread. Even our server admitted that opening those little tubs is, in itself, a nuisance of an adventure. I want to have breakfast or brunch at Dixie House again! All portions of all foods were generous and most tasty! Great experience!

Everyone there is really nice, my father and I go there for breakfast and the food is great prices are reasonable I have recommended the cafe to my friends and some of my family goes there occasionally..

Awesome place and service. Just know that if you get a bacon cheeseburger and fries and a Coke you'll pay a small fortune. It's best to stick with the specials. Outstanding home style food.

Always the best! They treat us so well and pay extra attention to my sister with special needs. Have been every Saturday for breakfast for over 25 years.

Always great food and service. With how busy they are on a daily basis, I can only imagine how stressful it is. Especially to try and keep all customers happy. You will always have a few that are never happy, ones that will complain about the littlest things...I am not one of them. Love this place and the staff!! ��

Accommodated a party of 11 with no problem!!!! Friendly servers, very attentive, food was great!!!! Everything came out at the same time!!!! Very quick!!!!

The food was good but I thought it was a bit expensive. I had a chicken salad and water and my son had a bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a soda for $27 and some change.

I've been going regularly for the past few years. Always friendly faces and great service from the girls. Food is normally served quickly and is always hot enough!.

I love this place! Food is very good and always leave full! The staff is very friendly and our waitress who had a beautiful accent who spoke Russian and chech (I think) was so nice! I wanted a piece of chocolate sheet cake and at first she couldnt understand me but took the initiative to ask around until she finally knew what I was talking about and yes I got my wonderful piece of cake! The only thing I hated was the parking. Me and my sis have to use the handicap parking and of course some jerk double parked and had no handicap placard or plates! 😡😡so we had to park a little Way.

The food was great. Brown gravy was super salty so my niece didn't eat it. The server was rude and is the sole reason my sister stated she will never go bk

We were having a meeting and they blankly told us to check out soon/ how we were going to pay. Rushing us and then the servers (very loudly) asked if we left tip money (we did)... Just no manners or decency any more. Been customers for years but it's been going downhill since and honestly this might be my last time coming here. Smh

This review was for your Belknap location, but since it's a family owned chain, probably need to let customers at all locations see how some of the family and employees act.



We've eaten here several times and the food and service has always been good, but today I must complain. We ordered our food and Cody brought it out and sat it down at the wrong table right next to us. The gentlemen sitting there grabbed the plate and turned it towards him and then he said I think this food belongs on our table. Cody picks the plates back up and sets them down on our table so I told him that man had been touching the plate of food, so hatefully he says "I can get you another plate." I said no it'll be fine. So when he walks around the table he says the man didn't touch the food and I said that doesn't matter. From the way he started talking to me he was angry. I already told him it was fine, but he had to keep on with it. Very dis-appointed and not for sure we'll ever come back. When you set food down at another table and someone other than you touches or grabs your plate you automatically fix the problem instead of getting pissed off at the customer you're supposed to be serving and taking care of. I'm sorry you don't argue with the customer.

UPDATE...... when we checked out at the counter, I asked the lady if she was the owner. She said she was the owners daughter. I told her I left a review. She says "A good one I hope." I tell her no, it's bad. She then asks me why I didn't let them change the plate, and the girl ringing up the ticket said "that just doesn't make any sense." Then the owners daughter tells me that it's not right for me to write a review without giving them a chance to fix the issue and says "we've seen your kind before!" And told me to be sure and add that to my review. So here it is!!

The issue is not so much changing the plate, because anyone can take the plate into the kitchen and slide the food onto another plate. The issue was #1.... you don't ask the customer that, you just handle it before you put the plate down on the table. #2... you do not get pissy with your customers. You should try to fix the problem with a polite attitude. And #3....... when you are the owners daughter, you should really try to fix the issue, not make it worse with your crappy attitude. Now I see where your employees get theirs!
