I loved it! I had a small shredded chicken soup. It was generously served with a dinner roll. The churros were amazing!!!! It is a very cozy, family coffee shop with drinks at happy hour.
Excellent food, they capture the essence of great Latin American cuisine and bring incredible made from scratch dishes to the table. Highly recommended
Pretty authentic Latin cuisine. Waitress was very patient explaining the menu to me. I tried the papaya and mango gelato milkshake, two of my favorite fruits. I love it. I also had the beef and cheese area with plantain chips. Everything tasted homemade and fresh.
Delicious Latin and South American food! I like coming here once in awhile for a casual lunch! Coffee is strong! Healthy fresh fruit frappes!
My favorite is their "CACHAPAS" filled with my choice of shredded beef and vegetables, and, sweet plantains as my side - simply fantastic!
Friendly Staff! Decorative yet dark is its interior! Good prices! A nice bakery they have for take-outs! Plenty of parking in front!
Great vaerity of items on the menu. So far most dishes taste pretty darn good. They only NEED to improve their greeting and service timing.
The food was great and unique. I can't remember the name, bust ask for the corn sandwiches they're known for.
Really good food. Great Selection of items from many regions of Latin and South America.
Really cool little South American restaurant in Oak Lawn area of Dallas. They have plantains, black beans and plenty of coffee. Authentic South American decor, staff, menu and experience. I usually eat steak and have a coffee for breakfast. Always friendly staff and parking is ample in front of restaurant.
I still enjoy their food but their service has become the most disgusting I have ever experienced.
I placed an order to go approximately one month ago and they failed to give me two of my pastries. I called when I arrived home but they said I either had to come back to get it or call the manager during the week to receive a refund. WHAT THE HECK IS THAT ABOUT???
I came back today to place another order to go and told them about the previous situation but the gentleman behind the counter said he was not able to do anything about it. I asked if he would at least just provide me with the one pastry that they charge me for it and never gave me, and his response was, "I cannot give you something for free" and shrugged his shoulders. I was absolutely surprised at his response and I said that I thought that was absolutely poor service, and again, another shrug. He said, "sorry but you can't expect to get something for free??" Are you f***ing kidding me?? This poor little pathetic dude had the audacity to say free?? Yet he can charge me for something and give me nothing??
SCREW THIS PLACE EVEN IF THE FOOD IS GOOD!
Good food, clean place convenient parking, usually busy at lunch hour
My new favorite breakfast spot! I loved it! I tried the Cachapa and it was so good! Fresh squeezed orange juice and great coffee. Their bakery is awesome as well! I recommend it!
The decor and atmosphere is authentic. I would suggest to eat the arepas with the guacamole chicken salad. This place provides okay service with true of Venezuela.
It was yummy. I would like more authentic Venezuelan food though. It had a touch of Mexican too it such as the lime juice in the avocados on the arepa. I didn't really like that. But overall, very delicious.
