Don't let the time change get you down...just get a bigger coffee!
You have to go in expecting a wait, because they make your donuts in front of you. But once you get them, they're delightful! The lemon coconut was my favorite.
Visited yesterday with my husband after dinner. Absolutely fantastic. Try the maple bacon donut!! Also loved the dark roast coffee! I would definitely purchase some to take home! Can't wait to return. I gave five stars because I had no complaints!
Super duper flavor!!!! Love it got and my style of coffee! Also a great place to study. Music is great. Crowd is awesome in diversity. Near UGA!
I needed to kill some time between appts so stopped at this Zombie joint. Associates are top notch, super nice. The coffee was good and our donuts were fresh, hot and fabulous!
Great donuts, amazing French Vanilla Mocha and awesome staff! Went for my first time yesterday and had the maple bacon donut and had one glazed with lemon and fruity pebbles... delicious! The young lady behind the counter explained how to use the donut order form, took about 8 minutes for my donuts to come out, but since they are custom-made, I wasn't complaining! I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Athens!
Great atmosphere, great light cake donuts (maple bacon is epic), coffee is good as well, hot chocolate favors coffee so kids may not like, great customer service.
First time, excellent cappuccino and donut. Really happy to see you using paper cups and boxes and NOT styrofoam! The environment thanks you and I do to!
Donuts were AMAZING! Made to order, so many choices! Had to limit ourselves to 1/2 dozen, but wow!! Staff was rather uninviting but didn't hurt the eating experience!!
Amazing donuts!! And even better coffee. I had the lemon glazed donuts with cinnamon dolce. It exceeded my expectations!! Highly recommended
very unique. donuts decorated as you order them by hand and employees were super sweet. Not my taste of donuts, but really cool all the combinations you can do. They have a sheet that you can pick everything your own. From the donut base, topping, and glaze!
Tonight first time , coffee was good, doughnut were super fresh and still warm my fav was simple powder sugar . Well worth the stop in
Overall the donuts are made fresh and very delicious and creative but I can't ignore the feeling of feeling like I wasn't suppose to be there, I literally got looked at like I was a alien from Mars , I wouldn't recommend black people to come here cause we're definitely not wanted! And that's the ugly truth even through the staff is diverse they live by those rules clearly! And if you think I'm over exaggerating that's you, I know what I saw and felt and it was very uncomfortable
I saw the lemon donut with coconut in a display and thought "perfect". When I got it, the coconut had melted to a glaze. It was still good but I wish the coconut was topped on the donut as the display showed; shredded.
I love Zombie donuts especially the cinnamon and sugar one but this morning I was not happy when i asked for a splash of soy milk and they wanted to charge me 50 cents! Really, for a splash of soy milk!? Then the girl told me there is free creamer by the coffee but i am lactose intolerant which is why i needed the soy milk.
We spent the day in Athens and after dinner and walking in downtown we had planned to go here. We checked the time online and it said they were open until 4am. We got there at 11:45 pm and they were closed! We then came back Sunday afternoon and had donuts and coffee. The donuts were not as good as Krispy Kreme to me. Zombie donuts are cakey and are only good if they are fresh and hot. The caramel Macchiato was pretty tasty.
We went after dinner and ordered a half dozen donuts. The donuts were so heavy and greasy that the kids wouldn't even eat them and we ended up throwing them away. The few bites we did eat left all of us feeling sick.
The doughnut was Terrible!! it was like they took a doughnut and let it soak in grease until it was totally saturated. I would never buy another one again. The coffee was ok. My friends was not hot enough and mine was scalding hot, but was tasty.
I didn't get a chance to try the donuts unfortunately because they closed at 10:30pm on a Saturday instead of the posted closing time of 2am. The staff inside cleaning up was quite rude to the growing and confused crowd outside.
Delicious donuts, great toppings, friendly staff… just don't make a special trip. I've tried to visit Zombie Donuts three times: once everything was great, once it was randomly closed (in the middle of its business hours), and once (this morning at 8 AM) there was a sign warning "NO DONUTS TODAY 😞."
