The best southern comfort food around, hands down. It's the first place we go when we get to town for Bama games. The tea is REALLY sweet so I usually have to get it half and half. My menu favorites are fried okra, Mac and cheese, and beef tips and rice.

I had breakfast there this morning and it was great. This is a local hangout for breakfast crowd. Great food and reasonable priced. Well worth a vist.

Great Southern family restaurant. My family loves the food for breakfast and lunch, we go there often. They have a Great variety. Great for to go meals. Great service and friendly staff.

Prices that can't be beat for some good ole home style cooking just like grandma used to make! The pies here are excellent and the staff is kind. My only complaint is the lack of more seating just because everybody loves this place so much! If you have to wait it is maybe a 5-10 minute wait during the peak of rush hours. Only thing you need to be aware of is the hours just because they close in the early afternoon.

Food was awesome. Waitresses are the rudest people I have ever met. We were scared too even ask for refill of drink. Then when asked for to go cup because needed to take meds. She said ,"is there anything else so I want have to make another trip" thing is she wasn't even our waitress, and first time asked her for anything. But overall the all were rude and we weren't only ones noticed.

Crowded but the service was efficient and friendly and food was good.

Stumbled up on the gem while visiting Tuscaloosa Alabama for the very first time. The service was Awesome out server Kim was very friendly. The Food was Great!! The Biscuits are to die for!!! Can't wait to visit again!!

If you like a meat-and-three plate this is the place for you, the decor is a little dated but the staff is friendly add in fast service, great prices, and good food you can't go wrong with City Cafe

One of my favorite places for breakfast in Tuscaloosa. They never disappoint.

Great food and such a great price. Mac and cheese has real cheese! Fabulous catfish.
