Garden Gate Cafe was a major letdown. The latte was lukewarm, and the pastries were far from fresh. I left disappointed and won't be returning anytime soon.

Had a chance to pop into Garden Gate Cafe at 701 Avalon Ave, Muscle Shoals, Alabama 35661, and it was a solid experience. Ordered their flat white, and it was pretty darn good. The café has a rustic charm with wooden furniture and indie tunes playing in the background. It's a place where you can relax and enjoy your coffee without any fuss.

The café had a vintage, 1950s diner vibe with red leather booths and rock 'n' roll playing in the background. It's a coffee time machine.
