What I love about Nabeel's is they never skimp on the expensive ingredients like Feta cheese, olive oil, and capers. And yet their prices are decent. Maybe they can do that because they have the market too and buy in large amounts?? Not sure but it works for me.

The food was amazing!! but really the experience is what set the restaurant apart from others!! It felt like I was going to my grandmother's house to eat lunch with my family! Again the food was amazing!!

Spoke to the new owner of Nabeels tonight. They are excited to add new items to accompany the old favorites here. Come have some wine or cocktails and get the feta theologos (cant go wrong with bread and cheese!) Super nice people and great food all day long.

Our food was great as usual. Riley got the Greek chicken salad but I like to try different stuff. This trip I got the 3 salads - chicken, olive and pimento cheese - they were all great!

Nabeel's is my favorite restaurant. The best thing to get for lunch is their sweet iced mint tea, the Greek salad with a scoop of chicken salad on top, and a piece of baklava for dessert. So delicious!!! I bought a pound of the chicken salad to take home with me.

I have been eating at Nabeel's since the 80s and love it as much as ever! Highly recommend it to anyone who loves ethnic food as much as I do. Took some friends of mine from Chicago and they were enchanted. I go there every time I'm in Birmingham.

Great, quality, and accessible. I can come get a salad or sandwich, or an entree with carefully chosen ingredients curated from family recipes over the years. I love Nabeels!

First time visit was today, the tilapia was amazing, salad, steamed veggies, and bread freshest ever! We had a very new waiter that was one of the most pleasant we've had anywhere. He was super attentive and made sure our meal and visit was perfect. Will definitely be repeat customers!!

Being from the Northeast, New Jersey to be specific....where diners are owned by Greek immigrants are in just about EVERY decent sized town..... Nabeel's Gyro Plate was FAR beyond ANY expectation that I could've thought of here in Alabama!!!!! I had the pleasure of enjoying a meal, where I thought I was at a place back home, and was so amazed by their delicious food, by the time our dinner was through. I had to remember while walking out to my car, I was in Alabama!!!! The lamb is amazing!!!! If you're from the northeast, and know a good diner, Nabeel's is THE PLACE to GO! The management, and staff are very friendly, and make you feel welcomed! This is a GREAT place to try, and I promise you will NOT be disappointed!

Server was nice. Food came fast. Taste was bland. Most flavorful item I had was my water after I added lemon to it.

Please, please—Clean your restaurant! The food deserves at least 4 stars, but I almost walked right back out as soon as I sat down because of how sticky and grimy the floors and table were. This feeling of disgust mounted when I visited the bathroom. I’ve seen cleaner, less run-down restrooms in several gas stations. There were a few flies in the place as well. I stayed because the reviews had been good, and I was hungry, but I prayed the cooks were being hygienic. Thankfully the food was delicious. I had the gyro Athenian plate with Greek fries was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed the espresso afterward as well. I would love to visit this restaurant again. Perhaps the owners should watch an episode or two of Gordon Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares and take notes! Cleanliness is as important as good food!

My husband works with a guy who said we have to try Nabeel's. So we went today. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs. It came with a Greek salad which was great. However, the spaghetti and meatballs was bland...even the meatballs had no flavor. My husband had been working all day so he was hungry and ate all of his spaghetti even though he said he wasn't good. I could only eat about three/four bites. Perhaps the other "more" Greek entrees are better. We will go back again and try something else given that the salads were so good.

Very disappointing experience. I went to this place based on positive google reviews. DONT MAKE THAT MISTAKE. I ordered hummus that tasted like it was straight out of a rusted can. We barely touched the hummus and when I complained to the waiter about it, he just took it back and ended up charging for it. Food is way overpriced given the low quality. I've had great Greek and Mediterranean food and this qualifies as neither. The food had no flavor, falafel tasted like the inside of a freezer. Bad service, bad food, better off eating at McDonald's
