Best chain on the planet. I have never once regretted spending my money there. Not often do I feel someone works as hard as I do for my money. BRAVO!!!

On 7-14-17 at approximately 1:30p.m. I went to Panera Bread in Spanish Ft., Al. For lunch. I have gone to Panera's for years, even before it was called Panera Bread, and called St. Louis Bread. I've always enjoyed the freshly prepared salads, soups and sandwiches...fixed consistently the same. This time however, I was disappointed. I ordered a Southwest chicken salad with Summer Corn soup 1/2. And ice tea For around $14. It took a little while to find a clean, wiped table. The soup was good. When I started on my salad, there was no dressing and the salad was slightly wilted. So I went to counter and got the dressing. Then noticed there wasn't any chicken on my salad. I didn't go back for chicken to be added, I just ate and left. Don't think I will return..

Today I ate at a Taziki's Cafe. On Hwy. 98 In Daphni, Al. I ordered the Mediterranean salad with chicken and ice tea.. I've had this several times and always perfect! Around $12. The table perfectly clean, huge crunchy salad, generous portion of grilled chicken home. They clear the table for you. Then I Brought half of chicken salad home.

Sorry Panera, you're falling behind.

The most terrible Panera experience I have ever had. Arrived st the store at approximately 635pm after being unable to order online due to lac of product availability. I thought it was probably a computer error so I went to the store. They only had about 3 kinds of bread so the menu choices were definitely limited. They had to pull a loaf of white bread from the front and cut it for one of my sandwiches and they ran out of baguettes while I was waiting for my order. No flatbread, sprouted rolls, whole grain, etc. If this would have been my first visit to a Panera, it most certainly would have been my last. The quality of the food I received was excellent but the selection was disappointing. The employees were also grumbling about the situation.

I had the onion soup and iced tea. Soup was much thicker than traditional onion soup, but tasty. It was served with great bread too.

Should have been a sign when I asked the staff behind the counter for a recommendation and was told by both girls, "We don't actually eat the food here." All staff were polite but unpolished... they forgot to put chicken on the chicken salad, did put onion on my"hold the onion" sandwich request, and forgot about drinks. It wasn't busy on a Wednesday evening-- more staff was working behind the counter than customers were inside. The food was good enough once the problems were sorted out, except the kids' Mac & Cheese which was watery. No glaring reason to avoid this place, but don't set your expectations too high.

Rough night at Panera. One lost girl working the register. Out of eggs, out of bread (we were told then they found some) and this is how our sliced bagel came out. Hmmm
