This place rules! I have to eat here at least once a week. The fried snapper is always the bomb and the squash casserole would have my Grandmother asking for the recipe. If you're looking for a meat & 3 in Pelham then look no further.

The man behind the steam table is the best in in the state. I know he needs a raise. But. The head cook is rude ass that swears in front of the costumers.

The food, staff, waitress, whole experience was wonderful! As soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted with smiles and hospitality. The restaurant was clean & organized; The food was so well seasoned, portions were big, and everything tasted like it was made in a sweet little Greek woman's kitchen! No matter how long we stayed, we got excellent service from the time we sat down, until the time we left. The cashier was the sweetest, most thoughtful lady ever, and made sure we were taken care of during our entire visit! We will definitely spread the word to our friends and families about this wonderful restaurant!...and will definitely be back time and time again!

I haven't been to Sarris in a few years, stopped in today and picked up lunch to go for me and my son. Oh my goodness. Everything was so good. I got a 4 veg plate with a banana pudding. The turnip greens, Mac and cheese, okra and speckled butter beans were so good, and everything was seasoned perfectly. And the jalapeno corn muffins were delicious. My son had the fried pork chop, Mac and cheese and corn and cleaned his plate. I will definately be back ( The fried fish looked amazing). 5 stars

First time to eat at Sarris, and, unfortunately, it will be my last. The food is good/home cooked. However, in a basket at the end of the cafeteria line are cups of whipped spread. After sitting down and ordering a drink, I asked the waitress if they had real butter, and she said no...only the whipped spread. That is a definite turn off for me. It makes me wonder if they use real butter when cooking.
