We met several other families while we’re having our amazing lunch. The owner came around and thanked us and talked with us. We felt so comfortable. The environment is quiet and the food is unique but amazing. You will not be disappointed no matter what you try. I recommend the tomatoe pie for an appetizer and peanut butter pie for dessert. So yummy!!!

We love the atmosphere and the food from here. The Tomato Pie is to die for. Our teen son loved his steak cooked to perfection, and he’s a little picky. Keep it up!

We arrived a wee bit early and the owner invited us in to order our drinks s we could chat and make plans. The fo9$ was superior, service great and the place lived up to i5’s #1 ranking.

Visited for our 17th anniversary and this is one of the coolest places you will visit. Laid back, friendly people work for an Owner that does her level best to make a great experience with wonderful food. Zelma was our server and she was outstanding. They have a balladeer who played ‘You send me’ for our anniversary while the Owner sang for us! The food wasn’t secondary to the experience, as it was top notch! Best horseradish sauce I’ve every had on a mouth watering prime rib second to none. My wife had the smothered chicken that she went on and on about. This is a must visit for everyone visiting within 30 miles of f Mentone Al. Thank you Moon for a wonderful experience! Your new friends from Pell City, the Downer’s.

This restaurant is very quaint, great service, and great food. The only thing that I would add to the entrees is some type of bread.

Stayed in Mentone for one night, and was very glad to have dined at the Wildflower Cafe! The food was fantastic and well worth the price. The portions were generous and the staff friendly, making you feel welcomed from the start. Reservations highly recommended. We lucked out of a 90 minute wait because of a cancellation.

Recently visited The Wildflower for the first time. Everything was incredible! The atmosphere is so laid back. The staff is wonderful. And the food is some of the best I’ve ever eaten! We will definitely be going back.

Ohhh my, this is my favorite place to eat, the food is excellent, so fresh and locally grown, my husband and drive over from the Madison Ala area just to eat here! I love anything that I have ordered, but my favorite is the Tomato Pie and the Canyon Burger! Highly recommend, the live entertainment is always fun! We were there just today for lunch on Memorial Day and everything was perfect!!!

My Mother and I always choose Wild Flower to celebrate special occasions.

Love the chicken salad, burgers and the gluten-free peanut butter pie. The staff at Wildflower always make you feel special and provide great personalized service. Plus the gluten-free options are a huge bonus for me and my picky tummy. And there’s almost always live music of some sort. You just can’t go wrong choosing to eat here.

We love you, Wild Flower.

Until next time

Let me tell you about the Wildflower Cafe. We were riding our Harly from Huntsville, just enjoying the day when we decided that we wanted to have lunch. We came across the cafe and WOW, we were blown away.

The quality of the food and the way that it was presented was "top shelf." The service was great and we wanted for nothing. I would recommend the Wildflower Cafe to anyone and will myself continue to be a customer.

Just happened upon this establishment by mistake and what a great time we had! The food was good, great entertainment and awesome staff! We had a large group of hot, thirsty and hungry bikers and we were very well taken care of! Perfect ending to a perfect day!

Great eclectic restaurant. It is a magical place full of folklore, antiques, country gadgets and furniture all cleverly arranged with a artist’s touch. Smells of heavenly cooking waft from the back to make you feel as if you are having lunch at your grandparents’ house! Enchanted!!

Excellent food, atmosphere, and music. Rarely do I ever say “that was worth the price” when I eat at a restaurant but...Wildflower Cafe is more than worth it!

As always the food was fabulous! I never had to use a knife with my steak, it was so tender all I needed was my fork! The butternut squash was the best I ever had!! Our Server Dillion was fantastic!!! Will defiantly be back!

Wildflower has its charm and that’s exactly what you’re paying for when you’re eating there. It’s expensive.

It has a bohemian atmosphere and the ladies in your group will no doubt be impressed. There’ll be gasps over the decor followed by gasps from the price tags on the local art.

This isn’t fine dining. Don’t expect gourmet food or five star service service. However, it’s worth checking out and the food is by no means bad or sub par.

I can’t reconcile the experience with the expense but my wife loved it. That’s the lesson here - your wife will love it and that’s ok.

We were somewhat disappointed because we had to eat outside in the tent! Mosquitoes were bitting us so I ask if you had some citronella candles to run them out! Had several bites! We had 6 in our party and it was almost 2 hours before we got our food! The food was good but overpriced for what you get! Maybe we can try again sometime at the lunch hour! We live on the Gulf Coast in lower Alabama so it my be a while before we get back up there!!
