Amazing! We went here and had amazing food. Cute atmosphere, wonderful staff, and most importantly scrumptious food! Had the hanger steak and was blown away at how tender and wonderfully it was cooked. If I'm ever back in red hook I will be trying to stop here again!

Pretty great! The tiramisu is probably the best in the world.

We ate here 3 times. The food was all right but certainly not great! The portions were skimpy. The wine and water glasses were covered in lint. During downtime the staff would stare at the diners. The seating on the front porch was extremely uncomfortable. For what this place charges one can find much better in other towns nearby. It's about as un-Italian as one can find.

Serious cooking in a house on the Red Hook Main Street, conveniently located near Bard College's Fisher Performing Arts Center.

Much better than you would expect so far away from the city. Had the Panzanella, special pesto rigatoncini and the tagliatelle bosco. All very flavorful and unique.

Homemade pasta and other delicious entries

Just OK overall. Dined on Memorial Day weekend, Friday night. Here were my impressions of my dinner experience: good food, terribly slow service, surly/humorless server, chef yelling at staff in kitchen as I walked to bathroom, really cramped space and tables, hot and stuffy (though cool outside), nice ambiance, cute decor (though you'd think they could afford better light fixtures than the ones in the window from IKEA with all the $25-$30 entrees they're selling), slightly dodgy neighborhood though in a charming Victorian rehabbed home, attractive hip crowd.
Pretty uneven overall. I won't rush to go back the next time I'm in the Rhinebeck area.

Delicious food and savory aromas pour out of this place

Wow. Wow! Quite honestly, I was not expecting to have one of the best meals of my life in this cozy, unassuming restaurant in Red Hook, NY. The atmosphere was awesome, convivial and lively and bright. The service was great, attentive but casual and friendly. The food! The food was simply out of this world. The most delicious kale salad I've ever eaten, gnudi with a subtle pesto, chicken Marsala as good as any I've ever had, and a tiramisu that almost made me weep. You simply must eat here if you ever have the chance.
