Great study and work spot. Good coffee and a few beers on tap. Gets a little crowded, but always nice, regardless.
Nice place for coffee and a snack. Plenty of room to chill inside. Great location
The coffee is good, but I had a grilled cheese just to try it. It was $9 and the cheese wasn’t fully melted and just frankly wasn’t that tasty. I like the environment of the place, but frankly the coffee and food is average and for me it’s hard to justify the $ they are asking.
Great place to study and get some work done. WiFi is good. Two bathrooms. Water dispenser. The only downside is that its a little dark and that you have to fight for a seat as this place is so busy and right across from NYU
I really wish I could love this place, because the coffee is delicious, the service is fast, and the ambience inside is lovely (not to mention the socially aware work the chain does), but the baristas all make me feel incredibly unwelcome here. I've visited numerous times, and the staff that take orders have always made me feel like I'm either inconveniencing them, or like they don't want me in there. I'll go out of my way to walk to other coffee places now, rather than face that staff again.
love the place itself, but some (not all) of the people that work there need a serious attitude adjustment.
Best cafe in the city for study and working at laptop. Often crowded on weekends and evenings. Calm music.
I was looking for a place with free wifi to get some work done when I found this place on Google. Reasonable prices and great atmosphere. The baristas are all really friendly and the music selection is great too. Poppy and catchy, but not too much. I'm definitely glad I stopped in!
This is my absolute favorite coffee shop in the city. It is large and spacious, outlets and seats are plentiful. You can get a cup of coffee in the morning and sit and do work all day long, no one will ever get on your case or keep track. There is really nice sun window seating which really gets me motivated. There's all kinds of seating depending what you need, single bar seating each with an individual outlet, small 2 person table if you want to chat or work with someone, larger group tables with couches. It's a pretty quiet environment even when the whole place is packed because most people are working on something. They serve not just reasonably priced coffee, but also breakfast pastries, grilled cheese sandwiches (that are amazing!!!) and they also serve beer and wine. Really can't beat the environment here and I travel all the way downtown for it.
It would be a perfect place to get work done as they have tons of space and a nice menu but the place is just dirty. I stayed there on a Tuesday night from 7 until close and I didn't see one worker come in and wipe down any counters or anything. I sat at a table that had a unfinished wine glass and it sat there until closing time.
I did see 1 worker come by but it was to chat it up with someone. Also, the bathroom is completely GROSS. There was no trash bin so you can just imagine the condition of the bathroom floor.
Larger than it looks. Good coffee. Can be loud. Plenty of tables.
I spent a lot of time here as a student at NYU. They have a lot of seating, free-wifi, great coffee, some food. You can also get wine and beer. What else can you ask for? :)
Environment is good, lots of ppl seems to just park here. But the coffee is really below average, with Sydney standard. For Aussies who want to find a place with decent coffee, give this place a miss...
I have mixed feelings about Think Coffee. I love their wide open spaces and their late hours. That makes them the perfect working coffee shop. But they're the type of place that, when you ask them for a cappuccino, they ask you what size. That is to say, they don't specialize in good coffee. Still, it's not the worst and it's a good alternative to Starbucks if you need somewhere to work.
