I had high hopes for Johnny Rey'S, but it didn't live up to the hype. The iced coffee was watery, and the pastries were stale. Not a place I'd recommend.

Had a chance to pop into Johnny Rey'S at 2340 North Richmond Road, Wharton, TX 77488, and it was a solid experience. Ordered their flat white, and it was pretty darn good. The café has a rustic charm with wooden furniture and indie tunes playing in the background. It's a place where you can relax and enjoy your coffee without any fuss.
